Weekend work to temporarily impact Brown Line; Extra service to concerts and sporting events

 

Get to your destination without the stress of traffic or expensive parking, and ride with CTA!

Weekend Work to Temporarily Impact Brown Line Service

  • Between Fri. 1/21 at 10 p.m. and Mon. 1/24 at 4 a.m., shuttle buses will replace rail service between Belmont and Southport stations. See alert and more details

  • Shuttle buses will operate in both directions

  • Service changes are due to Red and Purple Modernization (RPM) construction

Service for Upcoming Events

United Center

Extra service on the #20 Madison before each event, and extra service on the #19 United

Center Express and the #50 Damen routes after each event

  • Kacey Musgraves concert - Thu. 1/20 at 8 p.m.

  • Minnesota Wild vs. Chicago Blackhawks - Fri. 1/21 at 7:30 p.m.

  • Kane Brown concert - Sat. 1/22 at 7 p.m.

  • Toronto Raptors vs. Chicago Bulls - Wed. 1/26 at 7 p.m.

*NOTE: Scheduled Bulls and Blackhawks games are subject to change, based upon NBA and NHL COVID-19 protocols and procedures.

The CTA strongly recommends customers allow extra travel time and plan ahead by using the Google Transit Trip Planner and purchasing fares in advance.

Masks are required on CTA: Per federal mandate, masks or face coverings are required on all CTA properties -- even if you are vaccinated. Free masks are available on every bus and at every rail station.
