The Chicago Transit Authority and the Mayor's Office of Special Events are teaming up once again to present the CTA's Haunted 'L' Train this Halloween season. Ghouls and ghosts can ride the train this Saturday and Sunday.

The rail cars on the Haunted 'L' Train will be decorated in a Halloween theme. Once on board, guests will be entertained by ?The Aardvark," a Chicago theatre troupe that will present spirited tales about historic Chicago folk characters.

Tours on the Haunted 'L' are free, but guests must obtain tickets from the Chicago Cultural Center Visitor Information Center at 77 East Randolph, before boarding the trains. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are only offered on the days the Haunted 'L' is in operation. The Visitor Information Center opens at 10 a.m. daily.

Haunted 'L' trips begin at the Randolph/Wabash 'L' Station and run 40 minutes. Saturday and Sunday trips the weekend of October 27-28, will begin at 11:35 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 12:55 p.m. and 1:35 p.m. Persons with disabilities can make arrangements when they pick up their tickets to board the train at the accessible Clark/Lake 'L' Station.
