CTA service to/from Wrigley Field is your reliever all season long
The 2026 Cubs season is once again upon us, and the CTA is your most valuable option for getting to and from Wrigley Field. Avoid ridiculous parking lot fees or ride-share costs and use that money toward a stadium dog and drink, because the CTA has you covered for the first pitch of Opening Day on Thursday, March 26 at 1:20 p.m., when the Cubs play the Washington Nationals.
CTA’s 1-Day unlimited ride pass ($5) can get you to and from the ballpark and everywhere in between for 24-hours!
Fans are strongly encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and either purchase fares in advance or use contactless payment options to avoid crowding at the station after the game.
