Effective, now, the State/Lake Loop Elevated station is closed for reconstruction into 2029. Please use adjacent stations at Clark/Lake or Washington/Wabash.
The Kimball- and Linden-bound platform elevator at Chicago (Brown, Purple Lines) is temporarily out-of-service.
The Harlem-bound platform elevator at Halsted (Green Line) is temporarily out-of-service.
Trains in both directions will operate on the same track between Irving Park and Jefferson Park, resulting in minor delays.
The west entrance to the Harlem (O’Hare branch) Blue Line station on Higgins Avenue and the station’s bus terminal will temporarily close.
Service to Loop stns (Clark/Lake, State/Lake, Wash./Wabash, Adams/Wabash, HW Library, LaSalle/Van Buren, Quincy and Wash./Wells) will be temporarily suspended.
