“Fall” Into the Fun by Taking CTA’s Safe, Affordable and Convenient Service

Extra service provided for Riot Fest, various sporting events and concerts

No matter the season, the CTA is the best choice to get you to sporting events, concerts, festivals and more throughout the city.

Riders can now spend even less by taking advantage of CTA’s extended promotional discount on three of its most popular unlimited-ride passes, now available through November 25:

  • 1-day/24-hour pass: $5 (down from $10)
  • 3-day/72-hour pass: $15 (down from $20)
  • 7-day pass: $20 (down from $28)

Riot Fest at Douglas Park – Thurs. 9/16 – Sun. 9/19

  • Pink Line: Extra service
  • Extra service post- event on the #12 Roosevelt and #94 California bus routes

Cubs Games and Concerts at Wrigley Field

  • Thurs. 9/16 at 6 p.m. – Guns N’ Roses concert
  • Fri. 9/17 at 6:30 p.m. – Dead & Company concert
  • Sat. 9/18 at 6:30 p.m. – Dead & Company concert
  • Tues. 9/21 at 6:40 p.m. – Minnesota Twins vs. Chicago Cubs game
  • Wed. 9/22 at 6:40 p.m. - Minnesota Twins vs. Chicago Cubs game

Special service:

  • #152 Addison: More frequent service before and after events
  • #80 Irving Park: More frequent service before events
  • Yellow Line: Later service (to midnight from Howard Station) for all night events
  • Purple Line: Loop-bound trains will stop at Sheridan for weeknight events

The CTA strongly recommends customers allow extra travel time and plan ahead by using the Google Transit Trip Planner and purchasing fares in advance.

Masks are required on CTA: Per federal mandate, masks or face coverings are required on all CTA properties -- even if you are vaccinated. Free masks are available on every bus and at every rail station.
