Extra service provided for various concerts and sporting events
While taking CTA to get to Chicago’s various holiday festivities, don’t forget to board our beloved Holiday Train and Bus! The brightly lit, fully decorated vehicles have returned this year, allowing passengers to board - while wearing masks and social distancing, of course! Weekend Work to Temporarily Impact Green Line Service

Between Sat. 12/11 at 5 a.m. and Sun. 12/12 at 5 p.m., shuttle buses will replace rail service in both directions between Garfield and Cottage Grove stations. Map and more details HERE

The CTA strongly recommends customers allow extra travel time and plan ahead by using the Google Transit Trip Planner and purchasing fares in advance.
Masks are required on CTA: Per federal mandate, masks or face coverings are required on all CTA properties -- even if you are vaccinated. Free masks are available on every bus and at every rail station.
