Weekend work to temporarily impact the Blue and Green Lines; Extra service to sporting events

Ditch the stress of traffic and expensive parking and instead use CTA’s affordable bus and rail service to get you where you’re going.

Service for Upcoming Events

United Center

Extra service on the #20 Madison before each event, and extra service on the #19 United Center Express and the #50 Damen routes after each event

  • Edmonton Oilers vs. Chicago Blackhawks – Thurs. 3/3 at 7:30 p.m.

  • Milwaukee Bucks vs. Chicago Bulls – Fri. 3/4 at 6:30 p.m.

  • New Edition concert – Sat 3/5 at 8 p.m.

  • Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Chicago Blackhawks – Sun. 3/6 at 6 p.m.

  • Anaheim Ducks vs. Chicago Blackhawks – Tues. 3/8 at 7:30 p.m.

  • Dua Lipa concert – Wed. 3/9 at 7:30 p.m.

*NOTE: Scheduled Bulls and Blackhawks games are subject to change, based upon NBA and NHL COVID-19 protocols and procedures.

Extra service on the #146 Inner Drive/Michigan Express

  • Orlando City SC vs. Chicago Fire FC – Sat. 3/5 at 5 p.m.

Weekend Work to Temporarily Impact Blue Line Service

  • Between Fri. 3/4 at 10 p.m. and Mon. 3/7 at 4 a.m., a train shuttle will operate between O’Hare and Rosemont stations. More details
  • Note: From 12 a.m. to 4 a.m. each night, Forest Park-bound customers must take a bus shuttle from O’Hare to Rosemont.
  • Service change due to construction work for Your New Blue (YNB) O’Hare Branch Signal Upgrade Project

Weekend Work to Temporarily Impact Green Line Service

  • Between Sat. 3/5 at 5 a.m. and Sun. 3/6 at 5 p.m., shuttle buses will replace rail service between Garfield and Cottage Grove stations. More details

  • Shuttle buses will operate in both directions serving all affected stations

  • Service changes are due to track maintenance work occurring this weekend

Masks are required on CTA: Per federal mandate, masks or face coverings are required on all CTA properties -- even if you are vaccinated. Free masks are available on every bus and at every rail station.
