Enjoy Summer and Let CTA Drive You to the Fun

August 22, 2019

Project work to impact Blue, Green and Pink line service this weekend; Belmont Blue Line station closed nightly - Mon. Aug. 26 to Thurs. Aug. 29

Did you know that CTA provides easy, affordable connections to some of Chicago’s most popular destinations? We’ve also expanded service this summer to make it even more convenient for customers to get to the beach, park, concerts, museums and more this season!

Event service/extra service
Wrigley Field

San Francisco Giants vs. Chicago Cubs - Thurs. 8/22 at 1:20 p.m.
Washington Nationals vs. Chicago Cubs - Fri. 8/23, Sat. 8/24 and Sun. 8/25 at 1:20 p.m.

Need another great reason to take CTA to the Cubs game? Limos, ride-hailing vehicles and taxis will be restricted from picking up and dropping off passengers in close proximity to Wrigley Field in order to reduce traffic congestion.

CTA recommends allowing plenty of travel time and purchasing fares and unlimited-ride passes in advance. More information about purchasing fares is below.
