Apple Fest
Lincoln Square, Lincoln Avenue between Lawrence and Sunnyside – Fri. 10/3 at 3 p.m., Sat. 10/4 and Sun. 10/5 at 9 a.m.
Service:
- Rail: Take the Brown Line and exit at the Western station.
- Bus: Several CTA routes will provide the closest service to the festival including the following:

Sundays On State
State Street, between Randolph and Jackson – Sun. 10/5 at 11 a.m.
Service:
- Rail: All rail lines downtown will get you access to the event.
- Loop Elevated: Exit at either State/Lake, Washington/Wabash or Adams/Wabash.

United Center Events
- Minnesota Wild vs. Chicago Blackhawks (Preseason) – Fri. 10/3 at 7 p.m.
- St. Louis Blue vs. Chicago Blackhawks (Preseason) – Sat. 10/4 at 6 p.m.
- Ice Cube – Mon. 10/6 at 8 p.m.
- Mumford & Sons – Wed. 10/8 at 7 p.m.
Service:
- Rail: Take the Green Line and exit at the new Damen station or exit at the Ashland station from either a Green or Pink line train.
- Get to and from the following events via the #20 Madison and #50 Damen bus routes. Customers can also take the #19 United Center Express route post event.
Martin Stadium in Evanston
- Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks vs. Northwestern Wildcats – Sat. 10/4 at 2:30 p.m.
Service:
- Rail: Take the Purple Line and exit at the Noyes and Central stations.
Soldier Field
- Toronto FC vs. Chicago Fire FC – Sat. 10/4 at 7:30 p.m.
Service:
- Rail: The Red, Orange and Green lines provide the closest access to Soldier Field. Exit at the Roosevelt station.
- Bus: Service on the #146 Inner Lake Shore/Michigan Express route.
Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island

- Shawn Mendes – Wed. 10/8 at 7:30 p.m.
Wrigley Field
- San Diego Padres vs. Chicago Cubs (Playoffs) – Thu. 10/2 at 4:08 p.m.
Service:
- Red Line: The Addison station is located just a half block east of Wrigley Field.
- Purple Line: Before weeknight events only, Loop-bound Purple Line Express trains will stop at the Sheridan station.
- Yellow Line: Take the Yellow Line and transfer at Howard to the Red Line; continue to Addison station. To accommodate fans returning home, the Yellow Line will run for an hour later from Howard – until midnight – for all night games at Wrigley Field.
- #152 Addison: The #152 route will provide additional service on Cubs game days, with more frequent service two hours before and one hour after all games.
- Adjacent bus routes: Several CTA bus routes serve the Wrigley Field area, including:
- #8 Halsted
- #22 Clark
- #36 Broadway
- #80 Irving Park
- #151 Sheridan

Construction Work to Temporarily Impact Red Line Service
10 p.m. on Fri. 10/3 to 4 a.m. on Mon. 10/6
- Howard-bound trains will not stop at the Addison station. (More details)
- For service to this station, take a Howard-bound train to Sheridan and transfer to a 95th-bound train back to Addison.
- For service from this station, take a 95th-bound train to Belmont and transfer to a Howard-bound train.
- At Sheridan station, board/exit trains in both directions on the Howard-bound platform (More details)
4 a.m. on Mon. 10/6 to 4 a.m. on Wed. 10/8
- 95th-bound trains will not stop at the Addison station. (More details)
- For service to this station, take a 95th-bound train to Belmont and transfer to a Howard-bound train.
- For service from this station, take a Howard-bound train to Sheridan or Wilson and transfer to a 95th-bound train.
- At Sheridan station, Howard-bound trains will stop at their normal platform, but board/exit trains on the outer tracks instead of the inner tracks. 95th-bound trains will stop on the Howard-bound platform, on the inner tracks normally used by Howard-bound trains. (More details)
These service changes are due to track and signal construction north of the Addison station as part of the Red and Purple Modernization (RPM) project.
