Rail and highway grade crossings replacement work will suspend Yellow Line weekend service and temporarily close the Skokie station. Beginning at 11 p.m. Friday, June 13 until 4 a.m. Monday, June 16 the southbound and northbound tracks will close intermittently at the Kostner and Mulford grade crossings.
Customers are advised to use the #97 Skokie bus service as a substitute for Yellow Line service. The CTA will provide additional #97 Skokie buses to accommodate customers.
Customers will be able to transfer to Purple and Red Line trains at Howard station.
