In response to continued heavy rains, CTA has deployed extra manpower this weekend to monitor pumps and staff shuttle services.

Flooding near O'Hare Airport has caused the CTA to temporarily suspend Blue Line rail service into the airport. The Blue Line is operating as far as Rosemont station and train shuttles are being used to transport passengers between Rosemont and O'Hare.

CTA crews have been deployed to the airport to pump out the tunnel so that service can be restored.

The CTA is also monitoring pumps at all subway entrances and sections of track in areas with potential for flooding.
