Three bus lines will be detoured Sunday, March 12, for the South Side Irish St. Patrick's Day Parade. The parade is scheduled to kick off at noon southbound on Western Avenue from 103rd, and proceed to 115th. Parade participants will begin assembling at 11 a.m. on Western from 99th to 103rd.
During this period, buses on CTA's #103 West 103rd route will be detoured off 103rd between Longwood and Kedzie, using 99th Street in both directions.
Also affected by the parade will be #112 Vincennes/111th buses, which will use 119th instead of 111th between Longwood and Kedzie.
Pace buses on the #349 South Western route, which serve Western south of 79th, will be detoured off Western via 99th, Longwood and 119th in both directions.
