The Chicago Transit Authority is pleased to announce the appointment of Geri Lynne Pinzur as Associate Attorney in the Torts section of its Law Department. In this position, Ms. Pinzur will defend CTA against personal injury, property damage and workers? compensation claims.
Ms. Pinzur earned her law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law. She holds a bachelor of fine arts degree in art history from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana.
Prior to her appointment, Ms. Pinzur worked as a law clerk in the CTA's Law Department. She served her law internship at Chicago-Kent Employment Law Clinic and worked as a law clerk for two private law firms.
"We are delighted to have Ms. Pinzur join our law department," said Robert S. Rivkin, General Counsel for the CTA. ?In her prior capacity as a law clerk at the CTA, she proved she has the skills and talent to make a positive contribution to the agency."
Ms. Pinzur is a resident of Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood.
