Take Advantage of This Unusually Warm February; Head Outside and Let CTA Be Your Ride!

February 22, 2024

CTA’s trains and buses are the best and most affordable way to get to various events, across Chicago; Minor impacts to riders at/near the Harlem Blue Line (O’Hare Branch) and weekend construction work to temporarily impact the Red Line

Choose CTA as your designated driver to all your activities across the city. Customers can save money by purchasing an unlimited rides pass, either the 1-Day ($5) – far more economical and convenient than the price of gas and parking - or the 3-Day ($15) pass – a real budget-saving move.

Service for Upcoming Events

United Center

Weekend Work to Temporarily Impact Red Line Service

  • This service change is due to CTA crews performing maintenance in the State Street subway.

Blue Line (O’Hare Branch): Reconstruction of Harlem Station Bus Bridge

Now through early 2025, crews will demolish and reconstruct the bus bridge deck of the Harlem Blue Line station (O’Hare Branch). During this time:

  • West entrance to stationhouse temporarily closed.
  • Adjacent Park & Ride lot will be temporarily closed.
  • Affected bus routes: CTA’s #88 Higgins,  #90 Harlem, and Pace’s #209 and #423
