Free transfer is available between all 'L' routes serving this station.
For free transfer to Red and Blue Lines (subway) from this station, exit the station and walk 1/2 block north on State to Red Line or on Dearborn to Blue Line. (Use the same farecard that was used to enter 'L' system when transferring to these nearby subway stations for free transfer entry.)

Brown/Orange/Purple line trains will be reduced to 4-car lengths on weekends without major events or construction (3:30a Sat to 3:30a Mon).
Loop-bd Purple Line Express trains will stop at Sheridan for all weekday Cubs night games; Linden-bd trains will stop at Sheridan for weekday Cubs day games.
Effective, now, the State/Lake Loop Elevated station is closed for reconstruction into 2029. Please use adjacent stations at Clark/Lake or Washington/Wabash.
