Leave the winter in your rearview and let CTA’s trains and buses transport you to all the various events at the United Center and the Shamrock Shuffle in Grant Park; Construction work to temporarily impact the Red, Blue and Yellow Lines

Service for Upcoming Events
Shamrock Shuffle 8K Race
Grant Park, Loop, River North – Sun. 3/22
Gear Check at 6:30 a.m., Race Begins at 8:30 a.m.
- Rail: All rail lines downtown will get you access to the race area.
- Loop Elevated: Exit at either Washington/Wabash or Adams/Wabash
- Red and Blue Lines: Exit at Jackson and walk a couple blocks east
- Bus: Multiple bus routes in the area will be rerouted. For additional route information check our website: https://www.transitchicago.com/schedules/
United Center Events
- Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Chicago Bulls – Thu. 3/19 at 7 p.m.
- Colorado Avalanche vs. Chicago Blackhawks – Fri. 3/20 at 7:30 p.m.
- Cardi B – Sat. 3/21 at 7:30 p.m.
- Nashville Predators vs. Chicago Blackhawks – Sun. 3/22 at 2 p.m.
- Houston Rockets vs. Chicago Bulls – Mon. 3/23 at 7 p.m.
Service:
- Rail: Take the Green Line and exit at the new Damen station or exit at the Ashland station from either a Green or Pink line train.
- Get to and from these events via the #20 Madison and #50 Damen bus routes. Customers can also take the #19 United Center Express route post event.
Weekend Work to Temporarily Impact Red Line Service
- Between 10 p.m. Fri. 3/20 and 4 a.m. Mon. 3/23, 95th-bound trains will not stop at the Addison station. (More details)
- For service from Addison station, take a Howard-bound train to Sheridan or Wilson and transfer to a 95th-bound train.
- For service to Addison station, take a 95th-bound train to Belmont and transfer to a Howard-bound train.
- Consider using the adjacent Red Line stations at Sheridan and Belmont, where trains in both directions will continue to stop.
- At the Sheridan station, board/exit trains in both directions on the 95th-bound platform.
- These service changes are due to track maintenance to ensure that trains continue to operate safely along the Red Line.
Weekend Work to Temporarily Impact Blue Line Service
- Between 10 p.m. on Fri. 3/20 and 4 a.m. on Mon. 3/23, Blue Line customers will board/exit all trains on the O’Hare-bound side of the platform at the Addison and Belmont stations. (More details)
- Trains in both directions will operate on the same track between Irving Park and Logan Square, resulting in minor delays.
- This service change is due to traction power upgrades being made to allow trains to operate more efficiently along the Blue Line.
Weekend Work to Temporarily Impact Yellow Line Service
- Yellow Line rail service between Dempster-Skokie and Howard stations will be temporarily suspended on the following dates:
- Shuttle buses replace rail service between Dempster-Skokie and Howard in both directions.
- Trains will not operate between Dempster-Skokie and Howard.
- Shuttle buses will serve Dempster-Skokie, Oakton-Skokie, and Howard stations.
- This service change is due to utility work near our tracks.
