Southbound Red Line Trains Temporarily Unable to Stop at Berwyn Friday Night

November 6, 2008

Due to station renovation work, southbound Red Line trains will be temporarily unable to stop at the Berwyn station from 11 p.m. Friday, November 7 until 4 a.m. the following morning. Northbound service is not affected.

During this time, southbound Red Line customers who want to exit at Berwyn should instead travel to Argyle and board a northbound train to Berwyn. Customers at Berwyn who want to travel southbound should board a northbound train and exit at Bryn Mawr to access a southbound train.

Customers are advised to allow extra travel time. CTA operators will announce the direction of each train.
