Service to/from various sporting events at the United Center and Soldier Field; Weekend work to temporarily impact the Blue Line

Travel with CTA to Soldier Field to cheer on the Chicago Fire at their home opener game this Saturday, plus other exciting events all week long! Customers can save money by purchasing an unlimited rides pass, either the 1-Day ($5) – far more economical and convenient than the price of gas and parking - or the 3-Day ($15) pass – a real budget-saving move.

Service for Upcoming Events

United Center

Get to and from the following events via #20 Madison and #50 Damen routes. Customers can also take the #19 United Center Express post event:

  • Dallas Stars vs. Chicago Blackhawks – Thu. 3/2 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Phoenix Suns vs. Chicago Bulls – Fri. 3/3 at 7 p.m.
  • Nashville Predators vs. Chicago Blackhawks – Sat. 3/4 at 7 p.m.
  • Indiana Pacers vs. Chicago Bulls – Sun. 3/5 at 2:30 p.m.
  • Ottawa Senators vs. Chicago Blackhawks – Mon. 3/6 at 8 p.m.

Service on the #20 Madison, #19 United Center Express and #50 Damen routes before and after the event:

  • Big Ten Basketball Tournament – Wed. 3/8 at 5:30 p.m.

Soldier Field

Service on the #146 Inner Drive/Michigan Express route

  • Home Opener: New York City Football Club vs. Chicago Fire FC – Sat. 3/4 at 7:30 p.m.

Weekend Work to Temporarily Impact Blue Line Service

  • Between 10 p.m. Fri. 3/3 and 4 a.m. Mon. 3/6, rail service between Addison and Western stations along the O’Hare branch will be temporarily suspended. More details
  • Shuttle buses will operate in both directions between Addison and Western, stopping near the Belmont, Logan Square, and California stations.
  • This service change is due to construction at the Belmont Crossover
