Ride on CTA to the Biggest Back-to-School Celebration of the Summer at the Bud Billiken Parade

August 7, 2025

CTA’s trains and buses are the best ways to get to various sporting events, concerts, neighborhood festivals, the Bud Billiken Parade in Washington Park and Northalsted Market Days in Northalsted

Let CTA be your ride to all the festivities as we close out summer break. Also, take advantage of the last week CTA buses will be providing expanded week day service to the beaches.

Customers can save money by purchasing an unlimited rides pass, either the 1-Day ($5) – far more economical and convenient than the price of gas and parking - or the 3-Day ($15) pass – a real budget-saving move.
