Southbound Red Line Service Temporarily Suspended at Argyle and Lawrence
Track work scheduled to occur from 9 p.m. Friday, August 24 until 9 p.m. Saturday, August 25 has been rescheduled and now will occur from 6 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday only.
Southbound Red Line trains temporarily will be unable to stop at the Argyle and Lawrence stations during this time.
Southbound customers who want to exit at Argyle or Lawrence should board a northbound train at Wilson and ride back to these stations. Southbound customers who want to board at these stations should board a northbound train, exit at Berwyn and board a southbound train.
Northbound Red Line service is not affected. Normal southbound service will resume at Argyle and Lawrence at 5 p.m. Saturday.
CTA customers are advised to allow extra travel time.
