NINE CTA BUS LINES DETOURED OFF DEARBORN FOR PUERTO RICAN PARADE SATURDAY, JUNE 19

Nine CTA bus lines that operate on or cross Dearborn Street downtown will be detoured Saturday, June 19, for the Puerto Rican Parade. Scheduled to start at noon, the parade will go south on Dearborn from Wacker to Van Buren.

Buses affected by the parade will be the #20 Madison, #22 Clark, #36 Broadway, #56 Milwaukee, #60 Blue Island/26th, #62 Archer, #126 Jackson, #130 Grant Park Treasures and #151 Sheridan.

#22 Clark, #36 Broadway and #62 Archer buses that normally use Dearborn through the downtown area will be detoured northbound onto State Street.

#20 Madison, #60 Blue Island/26th and #126 Jackson buses that enter the Loop from the west will operate east only to LaSalle or Clark before turning back west over their regular routes.

#56 Milwaukee and #151 Sheridan buses, which serve the Ogilvie Transportation Center (NorthWestern Station) and Union Station, respectively, will operate around the parade area, using LaSalle to cross the Chicago River northbound and Clark southbound before returning to their regular routes.

#130 Grant Park Treasures buses, which operate from the Ogilvie Center and Union Station to the Museum Campus in Grant Park, will use Congress instead of Jackson east of Clark to reach Michigan Avenue en route to the museums. Return trips to the stations will be via Michigan, Congress, Clark, Harrison and Franklin to Adams.
