NIGHTTIME CANOPY WORK AT RANDOLPH/WELLS DETOURS BROWN LINE TRAINS TO INNER LOOP

May 7, 2001
Nighttime work on the canopy over the outer Loop 'L' tracks on Wells at Randolph will require Brown Line trains to operate clockwise around the inner Loop from 8 p.m. until midnight, Tuesday through Saturday, May 8 ?12. During this period, Brown Line trains will use the same routing as Orange Line and rush-period Purple Line Express trains, making all station stops on platforms opposite the ones they usually serve.

From 8 p.m. until service to downtown ends just after midnight, Brown Line trains will make their first stop on the Loop eastbound at Clark/Lake. They will then stop at all stations along Lake, Wabash, Van Buren and Wells before resuming their regular routing northbound at the Merchandise Mart.
