Navigation apps

Most smartphones already have transit directions built in. Google Maps and Apple Maps both offer directions by bus and train alongside the options for driving, cycling and walking.

If you download the Ventra app, you can plan your trip there too, alongside options for managing your fare account.

There are many other navigation apps that use our open data to provide directions. You can check your device's app store for popular, trusted options. We don’t control or vet these apps, but many of them are useful.

We offer several maps to help you find your way:

 

Call the RTA Travel Information Center

You can get travel information from the RTA Travel Information Center by calling  1 (312) 836-7000.

Notes:

  • The center is open Monday thru Friday from 6am to 8pm, and Saturday from 8:30am to 5pm.
  • For faster service, be ready to give your starting point and destination and the day and time at which you wish to travel.
  • For RTA Travel Information via TTY, call (312) 836-4949.
