Red Line: CTA’s Addison station is located just a half block east of Wrigley Field.

Purple Line: During weeknight games, southbound Purple Line Express trains will stop at Sheridan, where riders can either walk three blocks south on Sheridan/Sheffield to the ballpark or transfer to a southbound Red Line train and exit at the Addison station.

Yellow Line: Take the Yellow Line southbound and transfer at Howard to the Red Line; continue to Addison station. To accommodate fans returning home, the Yellow Line will run for an hour later from Howard – until midnight – for all night games at Wrigley Field.

#152 Addison: The #152 route will provide additional service on Cubs game days, with more frequent service two hours before and one hour after all games.

#80 Irving Park: The #80 route will provide extra service before the games, timed to meet the inbound UP-NW Metra trains at Irving Park.

Guaranteed Rate Field

Green Line: The Green Line 35th-Bronzeville-IIT stop is three blocks east of the ballpark.

Service to the Lakefront: Weekends/Holidays
The following routes will offer service to the lakefront on weekends and holidays. Service will operate from approximately 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.:
Weekend Work to Temporarily Impact Blue Line Service
- On Sat. 4/23 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. and Sun. 4/24 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., a train shuttle will operate between O’Hare and Rosemont stations. More details
- Note: From 12 a.m. to 4 a.m. each night, Forest Park-bound customers must take a bus shuttle from O’Hare to Rosemont.

Weekend Work to Temporarily Impact Brown Line Service

On Sat. 4/23 between 4:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., shuttle buses will replace rail service between Merchandise Mart and Clark/Lake stations in the Loop. More details

Shuttle buses will operate in both directions.

The Brown Line will operate between Kimball and Merchandise Mart only. There will be no Brown Line service in the Loop.

Service changes are due to work on the Wells St Bridge being done by the Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) and there will be a line cut south of Merchandise Mart on the Brown Line. The Wells St Bridge will be lifted at times throughout the line cut.

The CTA strongly recommends customers allow extra travel time and plan ahead by purchasing fares in advance and downloading the Ventra app, which allows you to manage your Ventra account, and also features a new trip planning tool powered by Google Maps.
