Five CTA bus lines that operate on or cross Dearborn Street downtown will be detoured Saturday, June 5, for the Asian-American Parade. Scheduled to start at noon, the parade will go south on Dearborn from Wacker to Madison and disband.
Buses affected by the parade will be the #20 Madison, #22 Clark, #36 Broadway, #56 Milwaukee and #62 Archer.
#22 Clark, #36 Broadway and #62 Archer buses that normally use Dearborn through the downtown area will be detoured northbound onto State Street.
#20 Madison buses will operate east on Washington to Clark before turning back west on Madison.
#56 Milwaukee buses, which serve the Ogilvie Transportation Center (formerly NorthWestern station), will operate around the parade area, turning onto LaSalle from Washington and heading north to Illinois en route to Navy Pier. Return trips will be via Grand and Clark back to Madison.
