During the festival, and for other summer events, the CTA will operate longer trains. In anticipation of large crowds, Yellow Line service will run until midnight following Friday's performances and Yellow Line trains will operate between 10 a.m. and midnight Saturday and Sunday.

In addition to rail service, CTA's #6 Jeffery Express buses and most other bus routes entering the downtown area will serve the Gospel Music Festival. Customers arriving on a northbound #6 bus can exit on Michigan at Congress, cross the viaduct to Columbus, and go north to Jackson. Southbound #6 buses make stops on State from Washington to Congress then go east to Michigan and south to Roosevelt, where they enter Grant Park for express trips south on Lake Shore Drive.

#6 Jeffery Express buses serve downtown until 1 a.m. Monday through Saturday nights, and until 12:30 a.m. on Sundays, operating every 10 minutes or less most of the day and evening.
