Farmers Market Closes Division from Clark to State on SaturdaysDivision Street will be closed between Clark and State for a Farmers Market from 5 a.m. until 3 p.m. every Saturday, from June 22 through October 26, detouring two CTA bus routes. #36 Broadway buses will operate south via Clark, Maple and State, while northbound buses will use State, Walton and Clark. #70 Division buses will end trips east via Clark, Maple and Dearborn to Walton.
Parade Closes Columbus at Balbo Saturday, June 22 The Puerto Rican Day Parade will close Columbus between Roosevelt and Balbo starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 22. The parade will begin at noon northbound on Columbus from Balbo to Randolph. Buses will use Michigan instead of Columbus between Roosevelt and Balbo. The affected routes are the #2 Hyde Park Express, #6 Jeffery Express, #10 Museum of Science & Industry, #130 Grant Park Treasures and #146 Marine/Michigan Express.
Sewer Work Affects Red Line Subway Overnight Saturday, June 22 Overnight sewer cleaning in the State Street subway will require all Red Line trains to use a single track between Clark/Division and Grand from 10 p.m. Saturday, June 22 until 6 a.m. Sunday, June 23. During this period, trains will operate every 15 minutes in both directions while serving the stations at Clark/Division, Chicago and Grand.
Track Work Affects Blue Line O'Hare Branch Sunday, June 23Track work will require Blue Line trains to use a single track while serving the Western and Damen stations on the O'Hare Branch of the Blue Line Sunday, June 23, from 5 a.m. until 1 p.m.
#78 Montrose Buses Begin Weekend Service to Montrose Beach Sunday Service on the #78 Montrose route will be extended to the Montrose Beach on weekends during the hours the beach is open from Sunday, June 23, through Saturday, August 31. At other times #78 buses will end their trips at the regular terminal at Montrose and Marine Drive.
Six Bus Routes Affected by Reopening of Jackson at Michigan Monday The completion of construction on Michigan will allow the reopening of Jackson at Michigan Monday, June 24. Six bus routes will return to regular service on Jackson from State to Michigan: #1 Indiana/Hyde Park, #7 Harrison, #60 Blue Island/26th, #126 Jackson, #129 West Loop/South Loop and #130 Grant Park Treasures.

Sewer Construction Closes Jeffery from 83rd to 85th June 25 to July 11Jeffery Boulevard will be closed for sewer construction between 83rd and 85th from 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, until July 11. During this period, #6 Jeffery Express and #14 South Lake Shore Express buses will be detoured in both directions off Jeffery via 87th and South Chicago back to Jeffery at 83rd.
#24 Wentworth Buses Resume Regular Downtown Routing June 26The reopening of Wacker between State and Franklin will allow #24 Wentworth buses to resume their regular downtown routing via Dearborn and Wacker to Clark on Wednesday, June 26. #24 buses had been detoured off Dearborn via Randolph, LaSalle and Lake to Clark before starting new trips south.
