Construction Closes Madison from Michigan to Wabash Over the WeekendConstruction work will close Madison from Michigan to Wabash from 7 p.m. Friday, February 21 until 5 a.m. Monday, February 24. #20 Madison, #56 Milwaukee and #60 Blue Island/26th buses will operate west from Michigan on Randolph, go south on State, and stop for customers on State at Washington and at Madison before turning west on Madison over their regular routes.
Construction Closes 59th Westbound from Damen to Western Until May 1 Viaduct construction will close 59th Street westbound between Damen and Western from 5 a.m. Friday, February 21 until about May 1. #59 59th/61st buses will be detoured off 59th westbound via Damen, 63rd and Western to 59th.
Construction Closes 63rd Eastbound from Western to Damen Until April 24Construction will close 63rd Street eastbound between Western and Damen from 5 a.m. Friday, February 21 until about April 24. #63 63rd buses will be detoured off 63rd eastbound via Western, Marquette and Damen to 63rd.
Weekend Blue Line Construction Closes Pulaski and Damen at 19th Construction on the Cermak (Douglas) Branch of the Blue Line will close Pulaski between 19th and 21st from 6 a.m. Saturday, February 22 until 5 a.m. Monday, February 24. #53 Pulaski buses will be detoured via 16th, Central Park, Cermak and Pulaski in both directions. Damen, which has been closed from 19th to 21st since February 14, will be re-opened at 5 a.m. Monday, February 24. Over the weekend, #50 Damen buses will continue to be detoured off Damen via 18th, Western, Cermak and Damen in both directions.
Structural Work Affects Brown Line Service Sunday, February 23Structural work will require Brown Line trains in both directions to use a single track while serving the stations at Damen, Montrose and Irving Park Sunday, February 23 from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. During this period, trains will operate every 15 minutes instead of 10 minutes apart along the entire line.
