Weekend Blue Line Construction Closes Damen, Kedzie and Pulaski at 19th Construction on the Cermak (Douglas) Branch of the Blue Line will close Damen, Kedzie and Pulaski between 19th and 21st. Damen will be closed for 10 days from 7 a.m. Friday, February 14 until 5 a.m. Monday, February 24. Kedzie and Pulaski will be closed from 7 a.m. Saturday, February 15 until 5 p.m. Sunday, February 16. #50 Damen buses will be detoured via 18th, Western, Cermak and Damen in both directions. #52 Kedzie/California buses will be detoured via Ogden, Sacramento, Marshall, Cermak and Kedzie. #53 Pulaski buses will be detoured via 16th, Central Park, Cermak and Pulaski.
Three CTA Bus Routes Serve Chicago Auto Show Daily February 14 - 23Buses on three routes will serve the 2003 Chicago Auto Show at McCormick Place South daily February 14 ? 23 during all hours the show is open. Transfers can be made to all three routes from other bus and 'L' service. #3 King Drive buses serve McCormick Place from North Michigan Avenue and the South Side. #21 Cermak buses operate via Cermak from the West Side. Buses on the #127 NorthWestern/Madison route will serve McCormick Place from Union Station, the Ogilvie Transportation Center, Washington and Michigan downtown.
Construction Closes Madison from Michigan to Wabash Over the WeekendConstruction work will close Madison from Michigan to Wabash from 7 p.m. Friday, February 14 until 5 a.m. Monday, February 17. #20 Madison, #56 Milwaukee and #60 Blue Island/26th buses will operate west from Michigan on Randolph, go south on State, and stop for customers on State at Washington and at Madison before turning west on Madison over their regular routes.
Structural Work Affects Brown Line Service Sunday, February 16Structural work will require Brown Line trains in both directions to use a single track while serving the stations at Damen, Montrose and Irving Park Sunday, February 16 from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. During this period, trains will operate every 15 minutes instead of 10 minutes apart along the entire line.
