Metra Viaduct Work Closes Pulaski South of Irving Park Over WeekendReplacement of a Metra railway viaduct will close Pulaski between Grace and Irving Park from 10 p.m. Friday, August 9 until 6 a.m. Monday, August 12. #53 Pulaski buses will be detoured off Pulaski in both directions via Addison, Kimball, Elston and Irving Park to Pulaski.
Cleaning Affects Red Line Subway Overnight Friday and Saturday Sewer cleaning in the State Street subway will require Red Line trains to use a single track between Clark/Division and Grand from 11 p.m. Friday, August 9 until 5 a.m. Saturday, August 10, and from 11 p.m. Saturday until 6 a.m. Sunday. During this period, trains will operate every 15 minutes in both directions while serving the stations at Clark/Division, Chicago and Grand.

Structure Work Closes North west of Milwaukee Saturday, August 10Work on the Blue Line 'L' structure over North Avenue will close North between Milwaukee and Hoyne Saturday from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. #72 North buses will be detoured via Western, Division and Damen to North in both directions.
'L' Work on Wabash Closes Madison late Saturday until Midday SundayRail tie replacement on the Loop 'L' above Wabash will close Madison from Michigan to State and Wabash from Washington to Monroe from 6 p.m. Saturday until 3 p.m. Sunday. For westbound trips #20 Madison buses will operate via Michigan, Adams and State to Madison. #56 Milwaukee buses will use Michigan, Randolph and State to Madison for outbound trips from downtown.
Temporary Kedzie/Central Park Blue Line Station Opens Monday As part of the renovation of the Cermak (Douglas) Branch of the Blue Line, a temporary station will be opened Monday, August 12 while the Kedzie and Central Park stations are closed for modernization. Entrances to the shared temporary station will be on Christiana (3332 West) and on Trumbull (3432 West) just north of 21st.

Bus Service to North Avenue Beach Suspended for Air and Water Show Preparations for the annual Chicago Air & Water Show will require #72 North buses to suspend service to the North Avenue Beach for the week starting Monday, August 12. #72 buses will use the regular terminal at North and Clark.
