Buses Detoured for Weekend Construction on Kedzie at 19th Construction work will close Kedzie between 19th and 21st from 7 p.m. Friday, August 16 until 5 a.m. Monday, August 19. #52 Kedzie/California buses will be detoured off Kedzie in both directions via Cermak, California and Ogden. The same detour will be in effect from 2 a.m. Thursday, August 22 until 5 a.m. Monday, August 26.
Cleaning Affects Red Line Subway Overnight FridaySewer cleaning in the State Street subway will require Red Line trains to use a single track between Clark/Division and Grand from 11 p.m. Friday, August 16 until 5 a.m. Saturday, August 17. Trains will operate every 15 minutes in both directions while serving the stations at Clark/Division, Chicago and Grand.

Buses Detoured For Weekend Construction on Damen North of Webster Replacement of a Metra viaduct will close Damen north of Webster from 6 a.m. Saturday, August 17 until 6 a.m. Monday, August 19. #50 Damen buses will be detoured off Damen via Armitage, Ashland and Elston back to Damen in both directions. The same detour will be in effect during the same hours over the weekend of August 24 ? 26.
Indian Independence Day Parade Closes Devon West of Western SaturdayThe Indian Independence Day Parade will close Devon between Western and California Saturday, August 17 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. #155 Devon buses will be detoured off Devon in both directions via Western, Lunt and California back to Devon.
Late Night Track Work Affects Blue Line Trains August 17-18 and 20-21 Track work on the Forest Park (Congress) branch of the Blue Line will require trains to use a single track while serving the Racine and Medical Center stations from 11 p.m. Saturday until 7 a.m. Sunday, and again from 9 p.m. Sunday until 3:30 a.m. Monday. From 9 p.m. until 4 a.m. both Tuesday and Wednesday nights the work will affect the Kedzie, Pulaski and Cicero stations.
Taste of Austin Closes Jackson at Central Starting Tuesday, August 20 The Taste of Austin festival will close Jackson between Central and Austin in Columbus Park from 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 20 until midnight Sunday, August 25. #126 Jackson buses will be detoured off Jackson via Central, Madison and Austin to the terminal at Jackson in both directions.
