Skyway Construction at Keefe Detours Two Bus Routes Starting April 26 Construction on the Chicago Skyway at Keefe Avenue will detour two bus routes starting Friday, April 26, and continuing through October. #30 South Chicago buses will reach the Red Line station at 69th via South Chicago, St. Lawrence Anthony and 69th, making the same detour in reverse to return to South Chicago. #67 67th/69th/71st buses will operate via Keefe, South Chicago, St. Lawrence, and Anthony to 69th in both directions.
Sewer Work Affects Red Line Subway Overnight Saturday, April 27 Overnight sewer cleaning in the State Street subway will require all Red Line trains to use the northbound track between Lake and Roosevelt from 10 p.m. Saturday, April 27, until 6 a.m. Sunday, April 28. During this period, trains will run 15 minutes apart in both directions while serving stations at Lake, Washington, Monroe, Jackson, Harrison and Roosevelt.
Maintenance Work Affects O'Hare Branch Blue Line Trains Sunday, April 28Maintenance work will require all trains on the O'Hare branch of the Blue Line to use a single track while serving the stations at Damen and Western Sunday, April 28, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Stops at both stations will be made by trains heading in either direction. Trains will operate 15 minutes apart in both directions.
Walkathon Detours Northbound Buses off State Briefly Sunday MorningThe March of Dimes Walkathon will detour northbound buses off State Sunday, April 28, from about 9:15 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. between Adams and Washington. #10 Museum of Science & Industry, #29 State, #145 Wilson/Michigan Express, #146 Marine/Michigan Express and #151 Sheridan buses will be detoured off State via Adams, Dearborn and Washington back to State, where they will return to their regular routes. Southbound buses will not be affected.
Construction on Ogden at Lawndale Detours Buses Starting May 1Construction will close Ogden at Lawndale for two months starting Wednesday, May 1, detouring buses on the #37 Sedgwick/Ogden route. #37 buses will be detoured in both directions via Ogden, Central Park and Cermak to Pulaski.
