Bridge Work Detours Two Bus Routes Off Madison Late WednesdayThe testing of lift mechanisms on bridges in the downtown area will begin Wednesday, March 6, when the Madison Street bridge is closed from 9:30 p.m. until 2 a.m. Thursday. Westbound #20 Madison and #56 Milwaukee buses will be detoured off Madison via Wacker, Adams and Canal back to Madison.

Sewer Work Closes Clark at Leland for Five Days Starting ThursdaySewer rebuilding will close Clark at Leland (4700 North) from Thursday, March 7, through Tuesday, March 12. #22 Clark buses will be detoured off Clark in both directions via Lawrence, Ashland and Wilson back to Clark.

Temporary Entrance Continues to Serve 54th/Cermak Blue Line Terminal A temporary accessible station entrance continues to serve customers about two blocks east of the 54th/Cermak Blue Line terminal to allow for construction of a new permanent facility as part of the Cermak branch reconstruction project. Until the new terminal is completed in about a year, Cermak branch trains will continue to start and end their trips at the temporary platform at Laramie, and CTA and Pace buses will serve the station as follows:

#21 Cermak buses can be boarded ? block south of the Blue Line tracks on Cermak.

#25 West Cermak and N60 Blue Island/26th buses can be boarded in the driveway adjacent to the Blue Line tracks at Laramie.

Pace #304, #305 (northbound) and #322 buses can be boarded on the east side of Laramie just north of the rail crossing.

Pace #305 (southbound) and #767 buses can be boarded on the west side of Laramie just north of the rail crossing.
