Annual May Festival on Lincoln Detours Buses North of Wilson May 16 ? 20Two CTA bus routes will be detoured for the German-American May Festival on Lincoln north of Wilson from about 10 a.m. Thursday, May 16, until about noon Monday, May 20. #11 Lincoln buses will operate around the festival area via Western and Wilson to Lincoln in both directions. #49B North Western buses will end southbound trips via Western, Montrose, Lincoln and Wilson before returning to Western to begin trips north.
Wells/Wacker 'L' Construction Detours Brown Line Weekend of May 17 ? 19 The installation of a new 'L' span on Wells at Wacker will require shuttle buses to replace Brown Line train service between the Merchandise Mart and the Loop from 10 p.m. Friday, May 17, until early Monday, May 20.
Construction Closes Pulaski at Cermak Over the Weekend#53 Pulaski buses will be detoured over the weekend by construction on the Cermak (Douglas) branch of the Blue Line north of Cermak. From 1 a.m. Saturday, May 18, until 3 a.m. Monday, May 20, #53 buses will be detoured off Pulaski in both directions via Cermak, Kostner, and 16th back to Pulaski.
Sewer Work Affects Red Line Subway Overnight Saturday, May 18 Overnight sewer cleaning in the State Street subway will require all Red Line trains to use the northbound track between Lake and Roosevelt from 10 p.m. Saturday, May 18, until 6 a.m. Sunday, May 19. During this period, trains will run 15 minutes apart in both directions while serving stations at Lake, Washington, Monroe, Jackson, Harrison and Roosevelt.
Run for Health Detours Five Bus Routes in Pilsen Area Sunday MorningFive bus routes will be detoured for the Run for Health in the Pilsen community from about 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. Sunday, May 19. Southbound #9 Ashland buses will be detoured via 18th, Blue Island, Laflin and Cermak back to Ashland. #18 16th/18th buses will be detoured in both directions via Damen, Roosevelt and Wood back to 18th. Eastbound #21 Cermak and X21 Cermak Express buses will operate via Western, 18th and Damen to Cermak. Southbound #50 Damen buses will travel via Cermak and Western to the 35th/Archer terminal. #60 Blue Island/26th buses will operate west via Cermak and Western to 26th.
