Leland and Western Closed for German-American FestivalLeland will be closed between Lincoln and Western, and Western will be closed between Leland and Montrose starting at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 4 until 11:59 p.m. Sunday for the Lincoln Square German-American Festival. #49B North Western buses will operate in both directions via Leland, Montrose, Lincoln, Wilson, back to Western then resume the regular route.

#11 Lincoln buses will operate in both directions via Leland, Montrose, back to Lincoln then resume the regular route.

Construction Closes FairbanksFairbanks will be closed between Huron and Superior from 12:01 a.m. Saturday until 5 p.m. Sunday for construction of a pedestrian bridge at the Northwestern University medical complex. #3 King Drive buses will operate northbound via Chicago, Inner Lake Shore Drive, Ontario back to Fairbanks then resume the regular route. Southbound #3 buses will operate via Ohio, Inner Lake Shore Drive, back to Chicago then resume the regular route.

#66 Chicago buses will operate eastbound via Chicago, Inner Lake Shore Drive, Ontario, back to Fairbanks then resume the regular route. Westbound #66 buses will operate via Grand, Fairbanks, Ohio, Inner Lake Shore Drive back to Chicago then resume the regular route.

Longer Purple Line Trains Provided for Northwestern Wildcats FootballThe Northwestern Wildcats host their first home game at noon on Saturday. Longer Purple Trains will operate beginning at 10 a.m. and after the game as crowds warrant.

Von Steuben Parade Closes Western SaturdayWestern will be closed northbound only between Irving Park and Leland from noon until 3 p.m. Saturday for the General Von Steuben Parade. Southbound #11 Lincoln buses will operate via Leland, Western, Irving Park back to Lincoln then resume the regular route. Northbound #11 buses will operate via Damen, Lawrence, back to Western then resume the regular route.

Northbound #49 Western buses will operate via Irving Park, Damen, Lawrence back to Western then resume the regular route.

#49B North Western buses will operate in both directions via Leland, Western, Irving, Damen, Lawrence back to Western then resume the regular route.

#78 Montrose and eastbound #81 Lawrence buses may experience intermittent delays during the parade.

Half-Marathon Closes Several South Side Streets SundayThe Chicago Half-Marathon takes place Sunday and will close several South Side streets from 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Closures will affect Lake Shore Drive between 35th and 57th Streets from 7:20 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Other closures are Stony Island between 57th and Midway Plaisance and Midway Plaisance between Stony Island and Ellis.

#6 Jackson Park Express and #14 Jeffery Express buses will operate in both directions via Jeffery, 67th, Cottage Grove, 35th, King Drive, Cermak, back to Michigan then resume the regular route.

#10 Museum of Science and Industry buses will operate southbound via Michigan, Cermak, King Drive, 55th, back to Hyde Park then resume the regular route. Northbound #10 buses will operate via Hyde Park, 51st, King Drive, Cermak, back to Michigan then resume the regular route.

#15 Jeffery Local buses will operate in both directions via 67th, Cottage Grove, back to 51st then resume the regular route.

#28 Stony Island Express buses will operate in both directions via Stony Island, 67th, Cottage Grove, 35th, King Drive, Cermak, back to Michigan then resume the regular route.

#55 Garfield buses will operate in both directions via Hyde Park, 53rd, Lake Park, back to 55th then resume the regular route.

#63 63rd buses will operate eastbound via Woodlawn, 64th, Blackstone, back to 63rd then resume the regular route. Westbound #63 buses will operate via Blackstone to 63rd then resume the regular route.

Sewer Work Closes Northbound Pulaski Beginning TuesdayThe northbound lanes of Pulaski will be closed at 21st Street from 9 a.m. Tuesday, September 9 until 3 p.m. Friday, September 12. Northbound #53 Pulaski buses will operate via Ogden, Central Park, 16th Street back to Pulaski then resume the regular route.

Movie Filming Closes 79th Street until Mid-September The filming of ?Barbershop 2? will close 79th Street between Escanaba and Exchange intermittently for 16 days until Wednesday, September 17. On the affected dates, the closures will occur from approximately 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. #79 79th buses will be rerouted in both directions via Yates, 75th, South Shore Drive, back to 79th then resume the regular route. Due to weather and other circumstances, these dates are subject to change.

Construction Closes 103rd until the End of SeptemberStreet reconstruction has closed the eastbound lanes of 103rd Street between Dauphin and Cottage Grove. The closure is expected to last until September 30.#106 East 103rd buses will operate eastbound via King Drive, 107th, Cottage Grove, back to 103rd then resume the regular route.

Construction Closes McCormick until Early OctoberMcCormick is closed between Devon and Lincoln for construction until Monday, October 6. #11 Lincoln buses will operate in both directions via Devon, Kedzie, back to Lincoln then resume the regular route.

#82 Kimball/Homan buses will operate in both directions via Homan, Devon, back to Kimball then resume the regular route.
