EVENTS AFFECTING CTA SERVICE BEGINNING THE WEEKEND OF SEPTEMBER 19 – 21

Westbound 69th Street Closed for ConstructionConstruction has closed westbound 69th Street between Wentworth and Halsted until further notice. Westbound #67 67th/69th/71st buses will operate via Wentworth, Marquette, Halsted, back to 69th then resume the regular route. Eastbound #67 service will continue to operate on 69th Street.

Armitage Closes for Work on Blue Line Elevated StructureArmitage will be closed just west of Western and Milwaukee from 7 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Monday while the elevated structure at that location is sandblasted and painted. #73 Armitage buses will operate in both directions via Western, Fullerton, California, back to Armitage then resume the regular route. Rail service will not be affected.

Clark Closes for Repairs to Elevated StructureClark Street will be closed just south of Roscoe from 6 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday while repairs are made to the elevated structure at that location. #22 Clark buses will operate via School, Sheffield, back to Clark then resume the regular route. Rail service will not be affected.

Southbound Platform at the California Station of the Blue Line Closes SaturdayDue to a construction project, the southbound platform at the California station will be closed from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. Saturday. Southbound trains will run express from Logan Square station to Western. Customers should exit the trains at Western and board northbound trains on the northbound platform to travel back to the California station.

Harlem Closes for Rail Crossing ReconstructionHarlem will be closed at 59th Street from 12:01 a.m. Saturday until 5 p.m. Wednesday, September 24 while a rail crossing is reconstructed. Eastbound #62H Archer/Harlem buses will operate in both directions via Archer Road, Archer Avenue, Harlem, back to 63rd then resume the regular route.

Mayor's Festival Closes Front Drive at Museum of Science and IndustryThe front driveway at the Museum of Science and Industry will be closed from8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday for Mayor Daley's ?Kids and Kites Festival." #10 Museum of Science & Industry and #55 Garfield buses will use the west parking lot entrance at the museum during the event.

Clark Closes for Filming Project SundayClark Street will be closed between Wacker and Washington from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday due to filming at the Thompson Center. #22 Clark buses will operate via Wacker, State, Madison, back to Clark, then resume the regular route. CTA rail service at the Clark/Lake elevated and subway stations will not be affected.

39th Street Closed for Metra Viaduct Work39th Street is closed at LaSalle until Monday, September 22 at 5 p.m. while the old Rock Island Metra viaduct is demolished and reconstructed. Eastbound #39 Pershing buses will operate via LaSalle, 35th, State, back to 39th then resume the regular route. Westbound #39 buses will operate via State, 35th, Wentworth, back to 39th then resume the regular route.

43rd Street Closed for Metra Viaduct Work43rd Street is closed at LaSalle for construction on the Rock Island Metra viaduct until 5 p.m. Thursday, October 16. #43 43rd buses will operate in both directions via Wentworth, 47th, State, back to 43rd then resume the regular route.

Construction Closes 103rd until the End of SeptemberStreet reconstruction has closed the eastbound lanes of 103rd Street between Dauphin and Cottage Grove. The closure is expected to last until September 30.#106 East 103rd buses will operate eastbound via King Drive, 107th, Cottage Grove, back to 103rd then resume the regular route.

Construction Closes McCormick until Early OctoberMcCormick is closed between Devon and Lincoln for construction until Monday, October 6. #11 Lincoln buses will operate in both directions via Devon, Kedzie, back to Lincoln then resume the regular route.

#82 Kimball/Homan buses will operate in both directions via Homan, Devon, back to Kimball then resume the regular route.
