Reconstruction of Bus Terminal at 95th Street Red Line Station is CompletedThe reconstruction of Red Line's 95th Street station is complete, bringing customers updated amenities and the return of several bus routes to permanent stops at the terminal. The last of the bus routes moving to permanent stops on the west side of the reconstructed terminal effective Friday are #103 West 103rd along with Pace routes #353, #359, #381 and #395.

Illinois Street Closed for Construction until November 14Illinois Street is closed weekdays only from 6 a.m. until 4 p.m. between St. Clair and Columbus until Friday, November 14. Eastbound #2 Hyde Park Express, #29 State, #65 Grand, #66 Chicago, #120 Northwestern/Wacker Express, #121 Union/Wacker Express and #124 Navy Pier buses will operate via Lower Michigan, North Water, New, back to Illinois then resume the regular route.

Cottage Grove Closed for Sewer Work through December 31Cottage Grove is closed between 37th Street and Pershing Road for sewer construction until December 31. #4 Cottage Grove and #X4 Cottage Grove Express buses will operate in both directions via Pershing, Ellis, 37th, back to Cottage Grove then resume the regular route.

California Closes for Ongoing Blue Line RehabCalifornia will be closed between 19th and 21st Streets from 3 a.m. Saturday until 11:59 p.m. Sunday to accommodate the ongoing renovation of the Cermak (Douglas) branch of the Blue Line. #94 South California buses will operate in both directions via Cermak, Marshall, Sacramento, Ogden, back to California then resume the regular route.

Polk Closes for Ongoing Blue Line RehabPolk will be closed between Paulina and Wood from 6 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday for the ongoing renovation of the Cermak (Douglas) branch of the Blue Line. Over the weekend #X21 Cermak Express buses will operate in both directions via Damen, Taylor, back to Ashland then resume the regular route.

Halsted Closes for Halloween Parade Friday NightHalsted will be closed between Belmont and Cornelia from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. Friday for the North Halsted Street Halloween Parade and Festival. #8 Halsted buses will operate in both directions via Clark, Addison, back to Halsted then resume the regular route.

Helicopter Lift Closes State Street Sunday MorningA helicopter lift at Carson Pirie Scott, 1 North State, will close State between Madison and Monroe from 7 a.m. until 9 a.m. Sunday. Bus routes normally using State will be rerouted northbound via Michigan and southbound via Clark for the duration of the lift.

Race May Cause Intermittent Service Delays Sunday MorningThe ?Gimme Shelter? 5K run will close Ogden between Adams and Monroe from 7 a.m. until noon on Sunday, November 2. The race begins at 9 a.m. and is expected to last one hour. The course will be northeast on Ogden to Monroe, west to Wood, south to Adams, west to Leavitt, south to Jackson, east to Aberdeen, north to Adams, west to Ogden and the finish line. During the race, some #50 Damen and #126 Jackson buses may experience delays.
