Late Night Single Track in Effect on Red Line Next WeekDue to track maintenance on the Dan Ryan branch of the Red Line, single track service will be in effect northbound between 87th and 79th Streets from 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. Monday night, May 23. Single track service will be in effect during those same hours southbound between 87th and 94th Streets Tuesday night, May 24, northbound between 55th and 45th Streets Wednesday night, May 25 and southbound between 55th and 63rd Thursday night, May 26.

Late Night Single Track in Effect on Forest Park Branch of the Blue Line ThursdayDue to track maintenance, single track service will be in effect eastbound between Lombard and Lavergne from 9 p.m. Thursday, May 19 until 4:30 a.m. Friday, May 20. Single track service will be in effect during the same hours eastbound between Harlem and Lavergne Sunday, May 22 until Monday, May 23, eastbound between Lavergne and Pulaski from Monday, May 23 until Thursday, May 26 and eastbound between Lombard and Pulaski from Thursday, May 26 until Friday, May 27.

Late Night Single Track in Effect on Forest Park Branch of the Blue Line Beginning FridayDue to track maintenance, single track service will be in effect westbound between Morgan and Western from 9 p.m. Friday, May 20 until 6 a.m. Saturday, May 21 and again from 9 p.m. Saturday, May 21 until 9 a.m. Sunday, May 22.

Single Track in Effect on Purple Line SaturdayDue to track maintenance on the Purple Line, single track service will be in effect southbound between Linden and Milburn from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. Saturday, May 21.

87th Street Closes Due to Sewer Construction Beginning Saturday87th Street will be closed at Jeffery Boulevard from 7 a.m. Saturday, May 21 until 3:30 p.m. Sunday, May 22. This closure is related to the ongoing sewer construction taking place on Jeffery between 87th and 93rd Streets throughJuly 15.

From 7 a.m. Saturday until 3:30 pm. Sunday, #87 87th buses will operate via 87th, Anthony, 83rd, Stony Island, back to 87th, then resume the regular route.

In addition, during these same hours, northbound #14 Jeffery Express and #15 Jeffery Local buses will operate via Jeffery, 93rd, Anthony, 87th, back to Jeffery then resume the regular route. Southbound buses will operate via Jeffery, Anthony, 93rd, back to Jeffery then resume the regular route.

Once the work is completed Sunday afternoon, the #14 and #15 buses will return the detour that has been in place since the project began. Buses will operate in both directions via Jeffery, 93rd, Stony Island, 87th, back to Jeffery, then resume the regular route. Buses on the #87 route will return to their normal routing.

Helicopter Lift Closes a Portion of North Lake Shore Drive SaturdayA helicopter lift at 1150 North Lake Shore Drive will close Outer Lake Shore Drive between Scott and Cedar, Division at Stone, and the southbound exit ramp from Outer Lake Shore Drive to Michigan Avenue from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. Saturday, May 21. Southbound #145 Wilson/Michigan Express, #146 Inner Drive/ Michigan Express and #147 Outer Drive Express buses will operate via Outer Lake Shore Drive, LaSalle, Clark, Division, State, Oak to Michigan, then resume the regular route. Northbound service will not be affected.

#151 Sheridan buses will operate in both directions via Stockton, LaSalle, Clark, Division, State, Oak to Michigan, then resume the regular route.

Montrose Avenue Closes for Repairs to Brown Line Structure SundayMontrose Avenue will be closed between Ravenswood and Wolcott from 6 a.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday, May 22. #78 Montrose buses will operate in both directions via Montrose, Damen, Wilson, Ashland, back to Montrose, then resume the regular route.

Run/Walk Closes Downtown Streets and May Cause Service Delays SundayThe Main Course 10K Run/5K Walk will close Columbus between Roosevelt and Balbo; Roosevelt between Columbus and Lake Shore Drive; and 18th Street between Lake Shore Drive and Museum Campus Drive from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. Sunday, May 22. Buses on the #6 Jackson Park Express, #10 Museum of Science & Industry, #12 Roosevelt, #14 Jeffery Express, #130 Grant Park Treasures and #146 inner Drive/Michigan Express routes may experience intermittent service delays and may be rerouted to adjacent streets during the race.

Race Closes 18th Street SundayThe Alivio Y Salud 5K Run/2K Walk will close 18th Street between Wolcott and Wood from 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. Sunday, May 22. #18 16th/18th buses will operate in both directions via 18th, Damen, Roosevelt, Ashland, back to 18th, then resume the regular route.

Overnight Track Maintenance Temporarily Closes Three Southbound Red Line Platforms Beginning SundayTrack maintenance on the north end of the Red Line will take place from 9 p.m. until 4 a.m. each night from Sunday, May 22 through Tuesday, May 24. As a result, southbound trains will not stop at the Granville, Thorndale and Bryn Mawr stations. During these hours, customers wishing to exit at those stations will need to travel to the Berwyn station and transfer to northbound trains back to those stations.

Madison Street Bridge over the Chicago River Closes for Repairs Beginning MondayThe Madison Street bridge over the Chicago River will be closed from 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. weekdays beginning Monday, May 23 until Monday, June 6. The closures will affect buses on the #14 Jeffery Express, #20 Madison, #56 Milwaukee, #60 Blue Island? #124 Navy Pier and #157 Streeterville routes.

63rd Street Closed for CSX Railroad Viaduct Repairs 63rd Street is closed westbound only between Damen and Western from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. weekdays until Friday, June 24. Westbound #63 63rd buses are operating via 63rd, Damen, 59th, Western, back to 63rd, then resuming the regular route. Eastbound service is not affected.

Lake Red Line Subway Entrance Temporarily Closed for RenovationsThe Lake Street station entrance to the Red Line is temporarily closed and is only available as an exit during all hours until late summer. Customers are encouraged to use the adjacent Red Line subway station entrance at Washington.

Trains continue to stop at the Lake Street subway station during all hours.Customers wishing to exit at the north end of the Lake station should walk north and use the newly renovated stairway. They also may enter and exit at the Randolph/Washington exit at the south end of the station.
