Orange and Pink Lines – Loop Elevated Service

Orange and Pink Line Trains Rerouted in the Loop on Sunday

Northbound (to the Loop) Orange Line and eastbound (to the Loop) Pink Line trains will be rerouted to operate on the outer elevated tracks – the same side served by Brown Line trains. The reroutes will be in effect beginning at the start of service until approximately 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 10, while crews perform structure renewal work.
 
Orange Line trains from Midway will be rerouted from the inner track to the outer Loop track, and travel counterclockwise. Entering the Loop, Orange Line trains will make their first stop at Adams/Wabash followed by Madison/Wabash, Randolph/Wabash, State/Lake, Clark/Lake, Washington/Wells, Quincy/Wells, LaSalle/Van Buren and Harold Washington Library/Van Buren, then proceed to Roosevelt and resume the normal route.
 
Pink Line trains will enter the Loop from Clinton and be rerouted to the outer Loop track. Entering the Loop from Clinton, Pink Line trains will make their first stop at Washington/Wells, then Quincy/Wells, LaSalle/Van Buren and Harold Washington Library/Van Buren, where they will turn and resume normal westbound service on the inner Loop track with the first stop at Harold Washington Library/Van Buren.
 
Customers are advised to allow extra travel time. CTA operators will announce the route of each train.
 

Green Line – Events Affecting Service

Late Night Boarding Changes at Oak Park, Ridgeland and Austin

All late night Green Line trains will be routed to operate on the westbound (to Harlem) tracks between the Harlem and Central stations from 9 p.m. Friday, July 8 until approximately 2 a.m. (or end of service) the following morning, due to track maintenance work.
 
Eastbound (to the Loop) customers at the Oak Park, Ridgeland and Austin stations must board and exit trains from the westbound (to Harlem) side of the platform.
 
Customers are advised to allow extra travel time. Operators will announce the direction of each train.
 
Next Week
From 9 p.m. until approximately 2 a.m. (or end of service) the following morning on Sunday night, July 10 and then again on Monday night, July 11, all late night Green Line trains will be routed to operate on the westbound (to Harlem) tracks between the Harlem and Central stations as track maintenance work continues.
 
Eastbound (to the Loop) customers at the Oak Park, Ridgeland and Austin stations must board and exit trains from the westbound (to Harlem) side of the platform.
 
Customers are advised to allow extra travel time. Operators will announce the direction of each train.
 

Late Night Two-Phase Single Track Operation in Effect on Harlem/Lake Branch

A two-phase single track operation will be in effect for all late night Green Line trains operating between the Harlem and Cicero stations beginning Tuesday night, July 12, as track maintenance work continues.
 
Phase I – at Oak Park, Ridgeland and Austin
From 9 p.m. until midnight Tuesday, July 12, Green Line customers at the Oak Park, Ridgeland and Austin stations traveling eastbound (to the Loop) must board and exit trains from the westbound (to Harlem) side of the platform.
 
Phase II – at Oak Park, Ridgeland, Austin, Central and Laramie
From 12:01 a.m. until approximately 2 a.m. (or end of service) Wednesday, July 13, Green Line customers at the Oak Park, Ridgeland, Austin and Central stations traveling eastbound (to the Loop) must board and exit trains from the westbound (to Harlem) side of the platform.
 
Eastbound (to the Loop) customers at the Laramie station must board and exit trains from the westbound (to Harlem) platform.
 
Customers are advised to allow extra travel time. CTA operators will announce the direction of each train.
 

Late Night Trains Routed to Operate on Same Tracks at Central and Laramie

All late night Green Line trains will be routed to operate on the westbound (to Harlem) tracks between the Austin and Cicero stations from 9 p.m. each night until approximately 2 a.m. (or end of service) the following morning on Wednesday night, July 13 and then again on Thursday night, July 14, due to track maintenance work.
 
During this time, eastbound (to the Loop) customers at the Central station must board and exit trains from the westbound (to Harlem) side of the platform.
 
Eastbound (to the Loop) customers at the Laramie station must board and exit trains from the westbound (to Harlem) platform.
 
Customers are advised to allow extra travel time. CTA operators will announce the direction of each train.
 

Blue Line – Events Affecting Service

Late Night Boarding Changes at Logan Square Friday and Saturday

All late night Blue Line trains will be routed to operate on the southbound (to Forest Park) tracks between the California and Belmont stations from 10 p.m. Friday, July 8 until 6 a.m. the following morning and then again from 10 p.m. Saturday, July 9 until 6 a.m. the following morning, due to repair and cleaning work in the subway tunnel.
 
During these times, northbound (to O’Hare) Blue Line customers at the Logan Square station must board and exit trains from the southbound (to Forest Park) side of the platform.
 
Customers are advised to allow extra travel time. CTA operators will announce the direction of each train.
 

Daytime Boarding Changes at Logan Square on Sunday Due to Rail Replacement Work

From 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. Sunday, July 10, all Blue Line trains will be routed to operate on the northbound (to O’Hare) tracks between the Belmont and California stations due to crews replacing portions of the third rail.
 
Blue Line customers at the Logan Square station traveling southbound (to Forest Park) must board and exit trains from the northbound (to O’Hare) side of the platform.
 
Customers are advised to allow extra travel time. CTA operators will announce the direction of each train.
 

Service for Upcoming Events

Service to Dave Matthews Band Caravan Concert 

The CTA is a convenient travel option for fans heading to the Dave Matthews Band Caravan on Friday, July 9 through Sunday, July 10 at the USX redevelopment site at 83rd Street and Green Bay Avenue.
 
Shuttle buses will operate from the 87th Street Red Line station to the entrance of the concert venue all three days. The buses will be marked with special destinations signs labeled “Going Your Way” when headed to the venue and “To 87th Red Line” during return trips.
 
On all concert days, shuttles will operate every 15-20 minutes from 1 p.m. until approximately one hour after the concerts end, or as crowds warrant.  Regular CTA bus fares are required.
 
In addition, customers can take the #87 87th Street bus and exit at 87th Street/Burley and then walk a short distance to the concert venue. The #87 will operate during its regular schedule hours throughout the weekend.
 
CTA also will operate longer trains on the Red Line to accommodate customers heading to the concert. On all concert days longer trains will operate on the Red Line until 1 a.m. from the 95th Street station.
 

CTA Service for Concerts at the United Center

CTA’s #19 United Center Express will provide service for those attending these upcoming concerts at the United Center:
 
  • Friday, July 8 at 7 p.m. – Britney Spears concert
  • Wednesday, July 13 at 7:30 p.m. – Josh Groban concert
 
Buses will leave every 12-15 minutes from Michigan and Randolph beginning 90 minutes before the start of each event. After each event, #19 buses will await customers on the north side of the United Center eastbound on Madison near Gate 3 and will depart approximately every 15 minutes for one hour.
 
NEW: Temporary Changes in Service for #19 Buses
Due to the closure of some downtown streets for Stage II of the Wacker Drive construction project, the following service changes are in effect along the #19 route:
 
Eastbound #19 buses are no longer being rerouted and have resumed traveling east on Washington over the regular route. The following changes have been made to bus stops served by eastbound buses:
 
  • Monroe/Canal: the temporary eastbound far side stop has been removed from service.
  • Washington/Canal: buses have resumed serving the eastbound near side stop.
  • Washington/Franklin: the eastbound near side stop has been temporarily relocated to a far side stop.
  • Washington/State: buses have resumed serving the eastbound far side stop.
 
Westbound #19 buses are being detoured and are traveling over the regular route along Madison to Franklin then operating via Franklin to Randolph and resuming the regular route. The following changes have been made to stops served by westbound buses:
 
  • Madison/Wacker: the westbound far side stop has been temporarily removed from service.
  • Madison/Clinton: the westbound near side stop has been temporarily removed from service.
  • Randolph/Wacker: buses are serving the westbound near side stop.
  • Randolph/Canal: buses are serving the westbound near side stop.
  • Randolph/Jefferson: buses are serving the new westbound near side stop.
 

New/Updated Changes in Bus Service

Changes to Downtown Bus Stop Locations

Currently in effect, changes have been made to bus stops in the downtown area served by #4 Cottage Grove (Owl service), #22 Clark, #24 Wentworth, #66 Chicago (Owl service) and #130 Museum Campus buses:
 
#4 Cottage Grove (Owl service) and #66 Chicago (Owl service)
  • Washington/State: the eastbound far side stop has been returned to service.
 
#22 Clark and #24 Wentworth
  • Clark between Madison and Monroe: the southbound mid-block stop has been returned to service.
 
#130 Museum Campus
  • Canal/Randolph: the northbound near side stop has been returned to service.
 

Changes to Bus Stop at Canal/Monroe Served by Six Routes

Currently in effect, the near side stop at Canal/Monroe has been removed from service. This stop is served by eastbound #60 Blue Island/26th, #124 Navy Pier, #130 Museum Campus, #157 Streeterville/Taylor and northbound #125 Water Tower Express and #129 West Loop/South Loop buses.
 

Temporary Relocation of Bus Stop at LaSalle/Madison

Currently in effect until approximately 6 p.m. Thursday, July 21, the southbound far side stop at LaSalle/Madison has been temporarily relocated approximately 100 feet north of the intersection. This stop is served by #134 Stockton/LaSalle Express, #135 Clarendon/LaSalle Express, #136 Sheridan/LaSalle Express and #156 LaSalle buses.
 

Updated Service Details for 11 Routes Affected by the Wacker Drive Project

Currently in effect, the following are updated service details for 11 of the 14 bus routes that are affected by Stage II work of the Wacker Drive construction project.

#19 United Center Express
The following changes have been made to stops served by westbound #19 buses:
 
  • Madison/Wacker: the westbound far side stop has been temporarily removed from service.
 
The following changes have been made to stops served by eastbound #19 buses:
 
  • Monroe/Canal: the temporary eastbound far side stop has been removed from service.
  • Clinton/Madison: the temporary southbound near side stop has been removed from service.
  • Washington/Canal: buses have resumed serving the eastbound near side stop.
  • Washington/State: buses have resumed serving the eastbound far side stop.
 
#20 Madison
The following changes have been made to stops served by eastbound #20 buses:
 
  • Washington/Canal: buses have resumed serving the eastbound near side stop.
  • Monroe/Canal: the temporary eastbound far side stop has been removed from service.
  • Clinton/Madison: the temporary southbound near side stop has been removed from service.
 
#56 Milwaukee
The following changes have been made to stops served by southbound #56 buses:
 
  • Eastbound Stops on Washington: buses have resumed serving the eastbound stops along Washington at Canal, LaSalle, Dearborn, State and Wabash.
  • Clinton/Madison: the temporary southbound near side stop has been removed from service.
  • Eastbound Stops on Monroe: the temporary eastbound stops along Monroe at Canal, Franklin, LaSalle, Wabash and the temporary mid-block stop between Dearborn and State have been removed from service.
 
#60 Blue Island/26th
The following changes have been made to stops served by eastbound #60 buses:
 
  • Canal/Washington: buses have resumed serving the northbound near side stop.
  • Canal/Madison: buses have resumed serving the northbound far side stop.
 
#121 Union/Wacker Express
Westbound #121 Union/Wacker Express buses are operating along Grand past Michigan to Wabash and then are traveling via Wabash to Upper Wacker and resuming the regular route.
 
Eastbound #121 buses remain unaffected are traveling over the regular route.
 
#122 Illinois Center/Ogilvie Express
The following changes have been made to stops served by westbound #122 buses:
 
  • Wacker/Orleans-Franklin: buses have resumed serving the westbound far side stop.
  • Wacker/Randolph: buses have resumed serving the southbound near side stop.
  • Madison/Canal: the temporary westbound near side stop has been removed from service.
  • Franklin/Randolph: the temporary southbound near side stop has been removed from service.
 
#124 Navy Pier
The following changes have been made to stops served by westbound #124 buses:
 
  • Westbound Stops on Madison: the westbound stops along Madison at Clark, Wells, Wacker and Canal have been temporarily removed from service.
  • Randolph/Canal: buses are serving the new westbound near side stop.
 
#157 Streeterville/Taylor
The following changes have been made to stops served by eastbound #157 buses:
 
  • Canal/Madison: buses have resumed serving the northbound far side stop.
  • Canal/Washington: buses have resumed serving the northbound near side stop.
 
#125 Water Tower Express
The following bus stop change has been made and affects northbound #125 buses:
 
  • Canal/Lake: northbound buses have resumed serving the near side stop.
 
#129 West Loop/South Loop – PM Rush Period Service
The following changes have been made to stops served by northbound #129 buses during the evening rush period only:
 
  • Canal/Washington: buses have resumed serving the northbound near side stop.
  • Clinton/Madison: the temporary southbound near side stop has been removed from service.
  • Clinton/Washington: the temporary southbound near side stop has been removed from service.
 

Taste of Park Ridge Temporarily Reroutes #68 Northwest Highway Buses

Currently in effect until approximately 7 a.m. Sunday, July 10, #68 Northwest Highway buses are being detoured due to the closure of the Park Ridge Metra station for the annual Taste of Park Ridge festival. As a result, #68 buses are unable to enter the station parking lot before beginning southbound service.
 
Northbound #68 buses are operating over the regular route to Summit/Prospect then are traveling via Prospect to Northwest Highway before turning to begin southbound service. Southbound #68 buses are not affected and are traveling over the regular route.
 

#11 Lincoln/Sedgwick Buses Detoured for the Chicago Folk and Roots Festival

From 6 p.m. Friday, July 8 until 11:59 p.m. Sunday, July 10, #11 Lincoln/Sedgwick buses will be detoured due to the closure of Lincoln Avenue between Montrose and Sunnyside for the annual Chicago Folk and Roots Festival.
 
Southbound #11 buses will travel over the regular route along Western past Leland to Montrose then will operate via Montrose to Lincoln and then resume the regular route. Northbound #11 buses will travel the reverse route.
 

#66 Chicago Buses Detoured This Weekend for the West Fest Event

From 1 a.m. Saturday, July 9 until 5 a.m. Monday, July 11, #66 Chicago buses will be detoured due to the closure of Chicago Avenue between Damen and Wood for the annual West Fest event.
 
Eastbound #66 buses will travel over the regular route along Chicago to Damen then will operate via Damen, Augusta, Ashland to Chicago and then resume the regular route. Westbound #66 buses will travel the reverse route.
 

The Roscoe Village Burger Fest Detours #77 Belmont Buses This Weekend

From 2 a.m. Saturday, July 9 until 4 a.m. Monday, July 11, #77 Belmont buses will be detoured due to the closure of Belmont Avenue between Leavitt and Damen for the annual Roscoe Village Burger Fest.
 
Eastbound #77 buses will operate over the regular route along Belmont to Western then will travel via Western, Roscoe, Damen to Belmont and then resume the regular route. Westbound #77 buses will travel the reverse route.
 

Three Routes Detoured Due to a Helicopter Lift in the South Loop

From 6 a.m. until 8 a.m. Saturday, July 9, #29 State, #62 Archer and #146 Inner Drive/Michigan Express buses will be detoured due to the closure of State Street between 8th and 11th streets for a scheduled helicopter lift.
 
Northbound #29 buses will travel over the regular route along State to 11th Street then will operate via 11th Street, Wabash, Balbo to State and then resume the regular route. Southbound #29 buses will travel the reverse route.
 
Northbound #62 buses will operate over the regular route along State to 11th Street then will travel via 11th Street, Wabash, Harrison to Dearborn and then resume the regular route. Southbound #62 buses will travel the reverse route.
 
Southbound #146 buses will travel over the regular route along State to Balbo then will operate via Balbo, Wabash, 11th Street to State and then resume the regular route. Northbound buses will travel the reverse route.
 

Bus Service Directly to the 63rd Street Beach Temporarily Unavailable on Saturday

From 6 a.m. until 11 p.m. Saturday, July 9, #63 63rd buses will be unable to provide direct service to the 63rd Street Beach due to anticipated heavy pedestrian and traffic congestion in the area for the Chosen Few Old School Reunion Picnic.
 
Eastbound #63 buses will travel over the regular route along 63rd Street to Stony Island before turning to begin westbound service. From 64th Street/Stony Island, westbound #63 buses will travel over the regular route.
 

#21 Cermak Buses Detoured Saturday Morning for the Chinatown 5K & Youth Run

From 7:30 a.m. until approximately 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 9, #21 Cermak buses will be detoured due to the closure of Wentworth Avenue between Archer and 35th Street for the Chinatown 5K & Youth Run. The race begins at 8 a.m.
 
Eastbound #21 buses will operate over the regular route along Cermak to Archer then will travel via Archer, Clark to Cermak and then resume the regular route. Westbound #21 buses will travel the reverse route.
 

Three Routes Detoured Saturday Night for the McDonald’s L.A.T.E. Ride Event

From 3 p.m. Saturday, July 9 until approximately 4 a.m. Sunday, July 10, #6 Jackson Park Express, #10 Museum of Science & Industry and #14 Jeffery Express buses will be detoured due to the closure of Columbus Drive between Roosevelt and Congress for the annual McDonald’s L.A.T.E. Ride event.
 
Northbound #6 and #14 buses will travel over their regular routes along Columbus to Roosevelt then will operate via Roosevelt to Michigan and then resume their regular routes north on Michigan past Balbo.
 
Northbound #10 buses will operate over the regular route along Columbus to Roosevelt then will travel via Roosevelt, Michigan to Balbo and then resume the regular route.
 
Southbound #6, #10 and #14 buses will travel over their regular routes along Michigan past Balbo to Roosevelt then will travel via Roosevelt to Columbus and then resume their regular routes.
 

Bus Service to Montrose Beach Temporarily Unavailable Early Sunday Morning

From 7 a.m. until approximately 9 a.m. Sunday, July 10, #78 Montrose buses temporarily will be unable to serve the beach due to the closure of Simonds Drive between Montrose and Wilson for the Fleet Feet Sports Women’s 5K & 10K event. Eastbound buses will only operate to Montrose/Marine before turning to begin westbound service. Service to the beach will resume upon completion of the event.
 

Restoration of Bus Stops at the Intersection of Montrose/Central

Effective at the start of service on Wednesday, July 13, the following changes will be made to bus stops served by #78 Montrose and #85 Central buses due to the completion of a nearby sidewalk construction project:
 
#78 Montrose
  • Montrose/Central: the westbound near side stop will be returned to a far side stop.
 
#85 Central
  • Central/Montrose: the southbound far side stop will be returned to a near side stop.
 

Jefferson Park Community Festival Detours Westbound #81 Lawrence Buses

From 12:01 a.m. Thursday, July 14 until approximately 2 a.m. Monday, July 18, westbound #81 Lawrence buses will be detoured due to the closure of Lipps Avenue between Lawrence and Milwaukee for the annual Jefferson Park Community Festival.
 
Westbound #81 buses will operate over the regular route along Lawrence past Lipps to Milwaukee then will travel via Milwaukee into the south entrance of the Jefferson Park terminal. Eastbound #81 buses are not affected and will travel over the regular route.
 

Bastille Day 8K & 5K Run/Walk Detours #76 Diversey Buses Thursday Night

On Thursday, July 14 from approximately 7 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., #76 Diversey buses will be detoured due to the closure of Cannon Drive between Fullerton and Lake Shore Drive West for the Bastille Day 8K & 5K Run/Walk and block party event.
 
Eastbound #76 buses will operate over the regular route along Diversey to Sheridan then will operate via Sheridan, Belmont to Lake Shore Drive West south of Oakdale before beginning westbound service. Westbound #76 buses will continue south on Lake Shore Drive West to Diversey and then resume the regular route.
 

Windy City Ribfest in Uptown Detours #36 Broadway Buses This Weekend

From 4 a.m. Friday, July 15 until approximately 4 a.m. Monday, July 18, #36 Broadway buses will be detoured due to the closure of Broadway between Lawrence and Leland for the annual Windy City Ribfest in Uptown.
 
Southbound #36 buses will travel over the regular route along Broadway to Lawrence then will operate via Lawrence, Sheridan, Wilson to Broadway and then resume the regular route. Northbound #36 buses will travel the reverse route.
 

Ongoing Bus Service Changes

Temporary Relocation of #126 Jackson Bus Stop at Harrison/Paulina

Currently in effect until approximately 6 p.m. Friday, July 15, the westbound near side stop at Harrison/Paulina served by #126 Jackson buses has been relocated to a far side stop due to nearby construction.
 

Sewer Installation Project Detours #53 Pulaski Buses

Currently in effect until approximately 3:30 p.m. Friday, July 22, #53 Pulaski buses are being detoured due to the closure of Pulaski Road between Addison and Avondale for a sewer installation project.
 
Northbound #53 buses are traveling over the regular route along Pulaski to Addison then operating via Addison, Avondale to Pulaski and resuming the regular route. Southbound #53 buses are traveling the reverse route.
 

Repairs to Bridge Detour #111 Pullman/111th/115th Buses

Currently in effect until approximately 4 p.m. Friday, September 30, #111 Pullman/111th/115th buses are being detoured from Cottage Grove between 98th Street and 100th Place due to bridge repair work.
 
Southbound #111 buses are traveling over the regular route along 95th Street to King Drive then operating via King Drive, 100th Street to Cottage Grove and resuming the regular route. Northbound #111 buses are traveling the reverse route.
 
#36 Broadway and #70 Division Buses Detoured on Saturdays for the Near North Farmer’s Market
From 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. every Saturday through October 29, #36 Broadway and #70 Division buses will be detoured due to the closure of Division Street between State and Clark for the Near North Farmer’s Market.
 
Southbound #36 buses will travel over the regular route along Clark past Division to Maple then will operate via Maple to State and then resume the regular route. Northbound #36 buses will operate over the regular route along State to Elm then will travel via Elm to Clark and then resume the regular route.
 
Eastbound #70 buses will travel over the regular route along Division to Clark and then will operate via Clark, Maple to Dearborn and then resume the regular route. Westbound #70 buses are not affected and will travel over the regular route. 
 

Construction Detours #20 Madison and #90 Harlem Buses Until December

Currently in effect until Friday, December 2, eastbound #20 Madison (Owl service) buses and #90 Harlem buses are being detoured due to the closure of North Boulevard and South Boulevard between Marion and Home for a construction project.
 
Eastbound #20 (Owl service) buses are operating over the regular route along Harlem past North Boulevard to Washington then are traveling via Washington, Maple, Randolph, Harlem to Lake and resuming the regular route. Westbound #20 (Owl service) buses are not affected and are traveling over the regular route.
 
Southbound #90 buses are traveling over the regular route along Harlem past North Boulevard to Washington then are operating via Washington, Maple, Randolph, Harlem to Harlem/South Boulevard before begin northbound service. From Harlem/South Boulevard, northbound #90 buses are traveling north on Harlem over the regular route.
 

Lane Restrictions near State and Grand Detour #29 State and #36 Broadway Buses

Due to lane restrictions associated with the Grand/State Red Line rehabilitation project at the northwest corner of State and Grand, #29 State and #36 Broadway buses are being detoured to adjacent streets until further notice.
 
Southbound #29 buses are operating over the regular route along Grand past State to Clark then traveling via Clark, Illinois to State and resuming the regular route. Northbound #29 buses are traveling along the remaining open lane along State and over the regular route.
 
Southbound #36 buses are traveling over the regular route along State to Ontario then are operating via Ontario, Clark, Illinois to State and resuming the regular route. Northbound #36 buses are operating over the regular route along Dearborn past Illinois to Ohio then traveling via Ohio to State and resuming the regular route.
 

Changes in Service along #8 Halsted Route for Bridge Reconstruction Project

Currently in effect until late-December 2011, Halsted Street between Division and the north branch of the Chicago River is closed due to a bridge reconstruction project.
 
Northbound #8 Halsted buses are traveling over the regular route along Halsted past Chicago to North Branch then are operating via North Branch, Cherry, Division to Halsted and then resuming the regular route. Southbound #8 buses are traveling the reverse route.
 
Changes to Bus Stops
  • Halsted/North Branch: the northbound far side stop on Halsted has been temporarily relocated to a far side stop on North Branch at Halsted.
  • Halsted/Division: the southbound far side stop has been temporarily relocated to a near side stop.
 

Service Adjustments Due to the Congress/Wacker Construction Project

Due to the Congress/Wacker Construction Project, Franklin Street between Harrison and Van Buren and Lower Wacker Drive between Randolph and Harrison are closed until May 2012. As a result of these closures and other street reconfigurations, the following changes in bus service currently are in effect:
 
#11 Lincoln/Sedgwick
Northbound #11 Lincoln/Sedgwick buses are traveling over the regular route along Harrison to Canal then are operating via Canal, Jackson to Franklin and resuming the regular route. Southbound #11 buses are not affected and are traveling over the regular route.
 
The following temporary changes also have been made to bus stops served by northbound #11 buses:
 
  • Canal/Harrison: a far side stop has been added to service.
  • Canal/Jackson: a near side stop has been added to service.
  • Jackson at the Chicago River: a near side stop has been added to service.
  • 404 W. Harrison: the mid-block stop has been removed from service.
  • Franklin/Van Buren: the far side stop has been removed from service.
 
#121 Union/Wacker Express
Northbound #121 Union/Wacker Express buses are operating over the regular route along Jackson past Wacker to Franklin then are traveling via Franklin, Lake, Post Place to Lower Wacker and then resuming the regular route.
 
Southbound #121 buses are operating over the regular route along Grand to Wabash then traveling via Wabash, Wacker, Franklin to Adams and then resuming the regular route.
 
#135 Clarendon/LaSalle Express
From Union Station, northbound #135 Clarendon/LaSalle Express buses are traveling south on Wacker to Jackson then are traveling east on Jackson past Franklin and resuming the regular route.
 
The following temporary changes have been made to bus stops served by northbound #135 buses:
 
  • Jackson/Franklin: a near side stop has been added to service.
  • Franklin/Jackson: the near side stop has been removed from service.
 
#136 Sheridan/LaSalle Express
From Union Station, northbound #136 Sheridan/LaSalle buses are operating south on Wacker to Van Buren then are traveling via Van Buren, Canal to Jackson and resuming the regular route.
 
The following temporary changes have been made to bus stops served by northbound #136 buses:
 
  • Jackson/Franklin: a near side stop has been added to service.
  • Franklin/Jackson: the near side stop has been removed from service.
 
#156 LaSalle (PM Service Only)
During the evening rush period only, northbound #156 LaSalle buses departing from Union Station are traveling west on Van Buren to Wacker then are operating via Wacker to Jackson and resuming the regular route.
 
The following temporary bus stop change has been made and is in effect for northbound #156 buses during the evening rush period only: 
 
  • Franklin/Jackson: the near side stop has been removed from service.
