Late Night Single Track in Effect on Red Line Next WeekDue to track maintenance on the Dan Ryan branch of the Red Line, single track service will be in effect southbound between 63rd and 69th Streets from 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. Monday night, August 1 and Tuesday night, August 2, and southbound between 55th and 63rd Streets during the same hours Wednesday night, August 3 and Thursday night, August 4.

Cermak Closed for Fiesta Del SolCermak is closed between Morgan and Throop until midnight, Tuesday morning, August 2. #21 Cermak buses are operating in both directions via Cermak, Loomis, 18th, Halsted, back to Cermak, then resuming the regular route.

Wells Closes for Sewer Repairs FridayWells will be closed at 57th Street from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Friday, July 29. Southbound #24 Wentworth buses will operate via Wells, 55th, Princeton, 59th to Yale, then resume the regular route. Northbound service will not be affected.

Additional Service Provided for Concert at Charter One Pavilion at Northerly Island FridayAdditional service will be provided on the #130 Grant Park Treasures bus route following the Sugar Water Festival featuring Jill Scott, Erykah Badu and Queen Latifah at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 29. Service will operate from the concert every 10 minutes to the Ogilvie Transportation Center until 30 minutes after the concert ends.

Single Track in Effect on the Brown Line Beginning FridayDue to track maintenance on the Brown Line, single track service will be in effect northbound between Western and Albany from 9 p.m. Friday, July 29 until 9 a.m. Saturday, July 30.

Late Night Single Track in Effect on O'Hare Branch of the Blue Line for Subway Sewer Cleaning Friday Single track service will be in effect southbound between Damen and Grand from 10 p.m. Friday, July 29 until 6 a.m. Saturday, July 30.

Damen Closes for Wicker Park Summer Fest Beginning SaturdayDamen will be closed between Schiller and North from 4 a.m. Saturday, July 30 until 11 p.m. Sunday, July 31. #50 Damen buses will operate in both directions via Damen, Division, Western, North, back to Damen, then resume the regular route.

Additional Service Provided for Venetian Night and Other Events SaturdayExtra bus and rail service will be provided for Venetian Night, the Grant Park Orchestra concert at Millennium Park and the fireworks at Monroe Harbor on Saturday evening, July 30.

Additional bus service will be provided on routes serving downtown and Navy Pier. Longer trains and more frequent service will operate on the Red, Blue, Brown, Green and Orange Lines.

Single Track Service in Effect on the Green Line SundayDue to track maintenance on the south end of the Green Line, single track service will be in effect eastbound between 59th and Union from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m. Sunday, July 31.

Late Night Single Track on Red Line Sunday NightDue to track maintenance on the north end of the Red Line, single track service will be in effect southbound between Addison and Belmont from 8:30 p.m. Sunday, July 31 until 4 a.m. Monday, August 1.

Overnight Track Maintenance Temporarily Closes Two Southbound Red Line Platforms Beginning SundayTrack maintenance on the north end of the Red Line will take place from 10:30 p.m. until 4 a.m. each night from Sunday night, July 31 through Thursday night, August 4. As a result, southbound trains will not stop at the Argyle and Lawrence stations. During these hours, customers who wish to exit at those stations will need to travel to the Wilson station and transfer to northbound trains back to those stations.

Viaduct Reconstruction Causes Reroute Beginning MondayDue to the reconstruction of the viaduct at 130th/Indiana, #34 South Michigan buses will be detoured from 12:01 a.m. Monday, August 1 through Tuesday, November 1. #34 buses will operate in both directions via Michigan, 115th, Bishop Ford Freeway, 130th to Eberhardt, then resume the regular route.

Additionally, for customers who need to travel south of 115th/Michigan, a shuttle bus will operate in both directions on Michigan between 111th and 127th Streets. Customers may board the shuttle buses on Michigan at any bus stop between 111th and 127th Streets.

Kiss & Ride Drop Off / Pick-Up Point Temporarily Closes for Reconstruction Beginning MondayThe drop off/pick up location at Harlem on the O'Hare branch of the Blue Line will be closed for approximately two months beginning at midnight Monday morning, August 1 while CTA constructs a new Park & Ride facility. During the first two weeks of construction, the drive in front of the station often used as a drop off and pick up point to the station will be closed. The drive will re-open inmid-August while the construction on the Park & Ride lot continues.

Gale and Higgins Close for Sewer Work Beginning TuesdayThe intersection of Gale/Higgins will be closed from 6 a.m. Tuesday, August 2 until 6 a.m. Monday, August 8. #85 Central buses will operate in both directions via Gale, Lester, Edmunds to Central, then resume the regular route.

#88 Higgins buses will operate in both directions via Gale, Lester, Edmunds to Higgins, then resume the regular route.

Racine Closed for Street Reconstruction Racine is closed between Arthington and Roosevelt from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays until Thursday, September 1. #60 Blue Island/ 26th buses are operating in both directions via Roosevelt, Loomis to Harrison, then resuming the regular route.

Division Closes for Farmers Market on Saturdays through October 22Division will be closed between State and Clark for the Near North Farmers Market from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. each Saturday through October 22. Southbound #36 Broadway buses will operate via Division, Clark, Maple to State, then resume the regular route. Northbound buses will operate via State, Elm back to Clark, then resume the regular route.

Eastbound #70 Division buses will operate via Division, Clark, Maple to Dearborn, then resume the regular route. Westbound service will not be affected.

State Street Closed for Construction State Street is closed northbound only between 91st and 87th Streets through Tuesday, August 2. Northbound #29 State buses are operating via State, 91st, Indiana, 87th, back to State, then resuming the regular route. Southbound service is not affected.

33rd Street Entrance at Sox-35th Red Line Station Temporarily Closed for Renovations As part of the ongoing renovation of the Dan Ryan branch of the Red Line, the 33rd Street entrance is closed until late October of this year. Customers are encouraged to use the 35th Street entrance to the station while the work is completed.

26th Street Closed for Railroad Viaduct Repairs 26th Street is closed between Kostner and Ogden until Tuesday, November 1. #60 Blue Island buses are operating in both directions via 26th, Kostner, Ogden, back to 26th, then resuming the regular route.

Lake Red Line Subway Entrance Temporarily Closed for RenovationsThe Lake Street station entrance to the Red Line is temporarily closed and is available as an exit only until late summer. Customers are encouraged to use the adjacent Red Line subway station entrance at Washington.

Trains continue to stop at the Lake Street subway station during all hours.Customers who wish to exit at the north end of the Lake station should walk north and use the newly renovated stairway. They also may enter and exit at the Randolph/Washington exit at the south end of the station.
