Bus Turnaround at Peggy Notebaert Museum Closes for Tree RecyclingThe bus turnaround in front of the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum in Lincoln Park will be closed from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, January 10 and Saturday, January 17 for holiday tree recycling sponsored by the City Department of Streets and Sanitation. #77 Belmont buses that ordinarily use the turnaround will operate in both directions via Cannon, Fullerton, Stockton, Cannon, back to Lake Shore Drive West and then resume the regular route. Stops near the museum may be made by customer request.
Milwaukee Closed at Ridgeway for Sewer ConstructionMilwaukee is closed at Ridgeway for sewer construction until Monday, January 12. #56 Milwaukee buses are operating in both directions via Central Park, Belmont, back to Milwaukee then resume the regular route.
Diversey Closes for Department of Water Management Work Beginning MondayDiversey will be closed eastbound only at Lawndale from 8 a.m. Monday, January 12 until 3 p.m. Monday, January 19 for work being done by the City Department of Water Management. Eastbound #76 Diversey buses will operate via Pulaski, Belmont, Milwaukee, Central Park, back to Diversey then resume the regular route. Westbound service will not be affected.
Franklin/Orleans Bridge over the Chicago River Closes for Repairs Beginning MondayThe Franklin/Orleans bridge over the Chicago River will be closed daily from 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. from Monday, January 12 until Friday, January 16. Some rush hour trips on northbound #37 Sedgwick/Ogden and #125 Water Tower Express buses will be affected. Affected trips will operate via Wacker, LaSalle, Hubbard, back to Orleans then resume the regular route.
