Late Night Single Track in Effect on Red Line over the WeekendDue to the rehabilitation of the Dan Ryan branch of the Red Line, single track service will be in effect southbound between 69th and 87th Streets from 8 p.m. Friday, January 7 until 8 a.m. Saturday, January 8 and northbound in the same location from 8 p.m. Saturday, January 8 until 3 p.m. Sunday, January 9.
Late Night Single Track in Effect on Red Line Monday through Next ThursdaySingle track service will be in effect northbound between 63rd and 55th Streets from 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. Monday night, January 10, and again during the same hours southbound between 45th and 55th Streets Tuesday night, January 11, and northbound between 69th and 63rd Streets Wednesday night, January 12 and Thursday night, January 13.
Customers should allow extra travel time.
LaSalle Street Closed for Water Main WorkLaSalle Street is closed northbound between 32nd and 33rd Streets weekdays from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. now through Wednesday, January 12, and on Saturday, January 8 from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. Northbound #24 Wentworth buses will operate via LaSalle, 33rd Street, State, 31st, back to LaSalle, then resume the regular route. Southbound service will not be affected.
