Division Bridge over the Chicago River Closes for Repairs The Division Street bridge over the Chicago River North Branch Canal at 829 West Division will be closed for repairs from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Friday, January 23 and during those hours again from Wednesday, January 28 through Friday, January 30. #70 Division buses will operate in both directions via Elston, Milwaukee, Chicago, Halsted, back to Division then resume the regular route.

North Service Drive at Museum of Science and Industry Closed until FebruaryThe north service drive at the Museum of Science and Industry is closed until 11:59 p.m. Friday, February 6. #55 Garfield, #X55 Garfield Express and #10 Museum of Science & Industry buses that ordinarily enter the north service drive to pick up and drop off customers will use the west surface parking lot instead, which can be reached via the west entrance to the museum on Cornell Drive just south of 57th Street.

Crane Lift Closes Taylor SaturdayA crane lifting equipment to the roof of the Veteran's Administration Chicago Healthcare System West Side Division will close Taylor between Damen and Hoyne from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday, January 24. #12 Roosevelt buses will operate in both directions via Ogden, Polk, Damen, back to Roosevelt then resume the regular route.

Argyle Street Chinese New Year Parade May Cause Service Delays SaturdayThe Argyle Street Chinese New Year Parade will take place on Saturday from noon until 1:30 p.m. The parade will begin at the Hip Sing Association, 1121 West Argyle and proceed east to Sheridan where two Dragon teams will lead parade spectators in two directions along Sheridan and Broadway, before meeting at Argyle and Broadway to disband. #36 Broadway and #151 Sheridan buses traveling through the area may experience intermittent service delays during the parade.

Chinatown's Chinese New Year Parade to Cause Bus Reroutes SundayThe Chinese New Year Parade will take place Sunday, from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. The parade will begin at 24th/Wentworth and travel on Wentworth north to Cermak and west to Princeton, disbanding on Princeton south of Cermak. #18 16th/18th and #21 Cermak buses will operate in both directions via Archer, Clark back to Cermak then resume the regular route.

Crane Lift Closes Michigan Avenue SundayA crane lifting equipment to the roof of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, 116 South Michigan, will close the three southbound lanes of Michigan Avenue from 5 a.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday, January 25. Southbound #3 King Drive, #4 Cottage Grove, #14 Jeffery Express, #145 Wilson/Michigan Express and #147 Outer Drive Express buses will operate via Madison, State, Monroe, back to Michigan then resume the regular route. Northbound service on these routes will not be affected.

Helicopter Lift Closes Loop Streets Sunday MorningA helicopter lift at the Dirksen Federal Building, 219 South Dearborn, will close Dearborn between Jackson and the alley just south of Monroe, and Adams between State and Clark from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. Sunday. Northbound #22 Clark, #36 Broadway and #62 Archer buses will operate via Jackson, State, Madison, back to Dearborn then resume the regular route. Southbound service will not be affected.

Northbound #28 Stony Island Express and #126 Jackson buses will operate via State, Madison, Clark, back to Adams then resume the regular route. Southbound service will not be affected.

Southbound #151 Sheridan buses will operate via Madison, Clark, back to Adams then resume the regular route. Northbound service is not affected.

59th Street Closes for Metra Viaduct Work Beginning Monday59th Street will be closed between State and Wentworth from 7 a.m. Monday, January 26 through Thursday, January 29 for Metra Rock Island viaduct construction. Eastbound #59 59th buses will operate via Wentworth, 55th, State, back to 59th then resume the regular route. Westbound buses will operate via State, 55th, Wells, back to 59th then resume the regular route.
