Late Night Single Track in Effect on Red Line over the WeekendDue to the rehabilitation of the Dan Ryan branch of the Red Line, single track service will be in effect southbound between 33rd and 45th Streets from 8 p.m. Friday, February 4 until 8 a.m. Saturday, February 5 and again in the same location from 8 p.m. Saturday, February 5 until noon Sunday, February 6. Customers should allow extra travel time.
Late Night Single Track in Effect on Red Line Tuesday through Next ThursdaySingle track service will be in effect northbound between 63rd and 55th Streets from 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. Tuesday night, February 8 and southbound between 45th and 55th Streets during the same hours Wednesday night, February 9 and Thursday night, February 10. Customers should allow extra travel time.
Division Street Bridge over the Chicago River Closes for Repairs FridayThe Division Street bridge over the Chicago River will be closed westbound only from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Friday, February 4. Westbound #70 Division buses will operate via Division, Halsted, Chicago, Milwaukee, Elson, back to Division, then resume the regular route. Eastbound service will not be affected.
Polk Street Station Platform and Stairway Temporarily Close for Repairs Beginning SaturdayThe northbound platform and stairway at the Polk Street station on the 54th/Cermak branch of the Blue Line will be temporarily closed from 2 a.m. Saturday, February 5 until 4 a.m. Monday, February 7 while new stairs are installed. As a result, northbound trains will not stop at Polk. Customers traveling to Polk are encouraged to travel to Racine and transfer to a southbound 54th/Cermak train back to Polk. Northbound customers should board a southbound train at Polk and transfer to a northbound train at 18th. Southbound service will not be affected.
LaSalle Street Closed for Water Main WorkLaSalle Street is closed northbound between 32nd and 33rd Streets weekdays from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. now through Monday, February 28. Northbound #24 Wentworth buses are operating via LaSalle, 33rd, State, 31st, back to LaSalle, then resuming the regular route. Southbound service is not affected.
