79th Street Closed for Water Main Work
79th Street is closed between Central Park and Columbus for water main work each day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Saturday, February 11.

#79 79th buses are operating via 79th Street to Central Park, 83rd, Columbus, back to 79th, then resuming the regular route.

Damen Avenue Closes for Helicopter Lift Saturday
Damen Avenue will be temporarily closed between 13th and 17th Streets Saturday, February 4 from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. for a helicopter lift.

The #50 Damen bus will be rerouted in both directions via Damen to 18th Street, Ashland, Roosevelt, back to Damen, then resume the regular route.

New #192 University of Chicago Hospitals Express Begins Monday
The new #192 University of Chicago Hospitals Express bus route begins its first day of service Monday, February 6. The #192 route will provide weekday express service in the off-peak direction during the morning and evening rush periods between Ogilvie Transportation Center, Union Station and the University of Chicago Hospitals.

In the morning, buses will operate southbound only from Ogilvie and Union Station beginning at 6:30 a.m.

In the evening, buses will operate northbound only from the U of C Hospitals Goldblatt Building, 860 E. 59th Street, beginning at 3:45 p.m.

Navy Pier Bus Terminal Lane Closes for Water Main Work
The east lane of the Navy Pier bus terminal will be temporarily closed at 8 a.m. Monday, February 6 for water main work.

Customers boarding the #2 Hyde Park Express, #29 State, #65 Grand, #66 Chicago and #124 Navy Pier buses will board in the adjacent west lane of the terminal.

Red Line - Dan Ryan Branch Rehabilitation:
CTA is working to replace track, power and signal systems and upgrade stations along the branch. When the work is completed, customers will experience more reliable service and modern station amenities.

Late Night Single Track in Effect Beginning Thursday
Single track service will be in effect between 63rd and Garfield from 11 p.m. Thursday, February 2 until 4 a.m. Friday, February 3.

Single track service will be in effect in the same location from 10 p.m. Friday, February 3 until 8 a.m. Saturday, February 4 and again from 10 p.m. Saturday, February 4 until noon Sunday, February 5.

Late Night Single Track in Effect Next Week
Single track service will be in effect between 33rd and 45th from 11 p.m. Monday, February 6 until 4 a.m. Tuesday, February 7 and again in the same location, during the same hours Tuesday night, February 7 through Friday morning, February 10.

While single tracks are in effect, customers should allow extra travel time.
