Late Night Single Track in Effect on Red Line over the WeekendDue to the rehabilitation of the Dan Ryan branch of the Red Line, single track service will be in effect southbound between 63rd and 69th Streets from 8 p.m. Friday, February 25 until 8 a.m. Saturday, February 26 and southbound between 69th and 79th Streets from 8 p.m. Saturday, February 26 until noon Sunday, February 27. Customers should allow extra travel time.
Jackson Closed for Sewer Installation Jackson is closed between California and Western from now through late March. Eastbound #126 Jackson buses are operating via Jackson, California, Congress, Western, back to Jackson, then resuming the regular route. Westbound buses are operating via Jackson, Western, Van Buren, California, back to Jackson, then resuming the regular route.
Armitage Station Platform and Stairway Temporarily Close for Maintenance on SundayThe northbound platform and stairway at the Armitage station on the Brown Line will be temporarily closed from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday, February 27. As a result, northbound trains will not stop at Armitage. Customers traveling north to Armitage are encouraged to travel to Fullerton and transfer to a southbound train back to Armitage. Southbound service will not be affected.
Armitage Closes for Maintenance to 'L' Structure on SundayArmitage will be closed between Bissell and Sheffield under the Brown Line elevated structure from 6 a.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday, February 27. #73 Armitage buses will operate in both directions via Armitage, Sheffield, Webster, Halsted, back to Armitage, then resume the regular route.
LaSalle Street Closed for Water Main WorkLaSalle Street is closed northbound between 32nd and 33rd Streets weekdays from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. now through Monday, February 28. Northbound #24 Wentworth buses are operating via LaSalle, 33rd, State, 31st, back to LaSalle, then resuming the regular route. Southbound service is not affected.
