Additional Service Provided for Bears Game on Sunday
CTA will provide additional service on the #12 Roosevelt (accessible) and #146 Inner Drive/Michigan Express (accessible) bus routes for the Bears game against the Atlanta Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 18. Additional service will begin at 5:30 p.m. and continue until one hour after the game ends or as crowds warrant.
CTA's #128 Soldier Field Express (accessible) route will operate between the Ogilvie Transportation Center, Union Station and Soldier Field beginning at 4:30 p.m. and continue until one hour after the game ends.
87th Street Temporarily Closed for Repairs Overnight Sunday
87th Street will temporarily close in both directions in the 200 West block from 9 p.m. Sunday, December 18 until 5 a.m. Monday, December 19. Eastbound #87 87th (accessible) buses will operate via Vincennes, 83rd to Lafayette, back to 87th to resume the regular route. Westbound buses will operate via State, 83rd to Vincennes, back to 87th to resume the regular route.
Holiday Train Brightens Commute this Weekend
The festive CTA Holiday Train will operate on the Brown and Orange Lines this weekend between 1 p.m. and 9 p.m. Next week the Holiday Train will operate on the Yellow Line, Purple Line Express and Red Line beginning Tuesday, December 20 between approximately 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Red Line - Dan Ryan Branch Rehabilitation
CTA is working to replace track, power and signal systems and upgrade stations along the branch. When the work is completed, customers will experience more reliable service and modern station amenities.
Single Track Service Schedule through December 23
Weekend Red Line Single Track
Single track service will be in effect northbound between 33rd and 15th from 8 p.m. Friday, December 16 until 8 a.m. Saturday, December 17 and southbound in the same location from 8 p.m. Saturday night, December 17 until noon Sunday, December 18.
Late Night Red Line Single Track Monday — Friday
Single track service will be in effect southbound between 79th and 87th from 11 p.m. Monday, December 19 until 4 a.m. Tuesday, December 20 and again in the same location, during the same hours Tuesday night, December 20 to Wednesday, December 21.
Single track service will be in effect northbound between Garfield and 45th from 11 p.m. Wednesday, December 21 until 4 a.m. Thursday, December 22 and again in the same location, during the same hours Thursday night, December 22 to Friday, December 23.
