Late Night Single Track in Effect on Red Line over the WeekendDue track maintenance on the Dan Ryan branch of the Red Line, single track service will be in effect northbound between 69th and 63rd Streets from 8 p.m. Friday, April 29 until 8 a.m. Saturday, April 30.

Late Night Single Track in Effect on Red Line Next WeekSingle track service will be in effect northbound between 94th and 87th Streets from 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. Monday night, May 2 and Tuesday night, May 3. Single track service also will be in effect during those same hours northbound between 23rd and 15th Streets Wednesday night, May 4, and northbound between 33rd and 23rd Streets Thursday night, May 4.

Greek Good Friday Procession Detours Two Bus Routes Friday NightA Greek Good Friday procession at the intersection of Diversey and Austin will cause two CTA bus routes to detour from 9 p.m. until 10 p.m. Friday, April 29. #76 Diversey buses will operate in both directions via Diversey, Narragansett, Fullerton, Central, back to Diversey, then resume the regular route.

#91 Austin buses will operate in both directions between Austin, Belmont, Central, Fullerton, back to Austin, then resume the regular route.

Late Night Single Track in Effect on Brown Line Friday and SaturdayDue to track maintenance on the Brown Line, single track service will be in effect northbound between Western and Albany from 9 p.m. Friday, April 29 until 9 a.m. Saturday, April 30 and again from 9 p.m. Saturday, April 30 until 9 a.m. Sunday, May 1. Customers may experience minimal travel delays and should allow extra travel time.

Sacramento, Francisco and Rockwell Streets Temporarily Close for Brown Line WorkAs part of the capacity expansion work on the Brown Line, Sacramento, Francisco and Rockwell Streets will be temporarily closed between Leland and Eastwood from 9 p.m. Friday, April 29 until 9 a.m. Saturday, April 30 and again from 9 p.m. Saturday, April 30 until 9 a.m. Sunday, May 1. These temporary street closures will not affect CTA service.

Overnight Track Maintenance Temporarily Closes Three Northbound Red Line Platforms FridayTrack maintenance on the north end of the Red Line will take place from 9 p.m. Friday, April 29 until 4:30 a.m. Saturday, April 30. As a result, northbound trains will not stop at the Wilson, Lawrence and Argyle stations. During these hours, customers wishing to exit at those stations will need to travel to the Berwyn station and transfer to southbound trains back to those stations. Customers may experience minimal travel delays and should allow extra travel time.

Weekend and Late Night Single Track in Effect on the Lake Street Branch of the Green LineSingle track service will be in effect on the Lake Street branch of the Green Line westbound between Laramie and Austin from 10 p.m. Friday, April 29 until 5 a.m. Saturday, April 30 and again from 6 a.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday, May 1. Single track service also will be in effect in the same location from 10 p.m. until 3:30 a.m. each night from Monday, May 2 through Thursday, May 5. Customers may experience minimal travel delays and should allow extra travel time.

Filming Project Closes Dearborn and Washington SaturdayDearborn will be closed between Madison and Randolph, and Washington will be closed between Clark and State from 6 a.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday, April 30. Northbound #22 Clark, #36 Broadway and #62 Archer buses will operate via Dearborn, Monroe, State, Randolph, back to Dearborn, then resume the regular route. Southbound service will not be affected.

Eastbound #14 Jeffery Express, #20 Madison, #56 Milwaukee, #60 Blue Island/26th and #124 Navy Pier buses will operate via Washington, Clark, Monroe, State, back to Washington, then resume the regular route. Westbound service will not be affected.

Track Maintenance Temporarily Closes Two Northbound Brown Line Platforms SaturdayTrack maintenance will temporarily close the northbound Diversey and Wellington platforms on the Brown Line from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday, April 30. Northbound customers wishing to exit at the Diversey or Wellington stations should travel to Belmont and transfer to southbound trains back to those stations. Customers wishing to board northbound trains at Diversey or Wellington should board southbound trains at Wellington or Diversey to Fullerton, and transfer to northbound trains to complete their northbound trips. Customers may experience minimal travel delays and should allow extra travel time.

During these hours, customers wishing to exit at those stations will need to travel to the Loyola station and transfer to southbound trains back to those stations. Customers may experience minimal travel delays and should allow extra travel time.

18th Street Closes for Parade on Saturday18th Street will be closed between Damen and Racine for the ?Dia de los Ninos? parade from noon until 1 p.m. Saturday, April 30. #9 Ashland buses will operate in both directions via Loomis, Cermak, Racine, Roosevelt, back to Ashland, then resume the regular route.

#18 16th/18th buses will operate in both directions via 18th, Damen, Cermak, Racine, back to 18th, then resume the regular route.

Eastbound #60 Blue Island/26th buses will operate via Loomis, 19th, to Racine, then resume the regular route. Westbound buses will operate via Racine, 19th, to Laflin, then resume the regular route.

Montrose Avenue Closes for Repairs to Brown Line Structure SundayMontrose will be closed between Ravenswood and Wolcott from 6 a.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday, May 1. #78 Montrose buses will operate in both directions via Montrose, Damen, Wilson, Ashland, back to Montrose, then resume the regular route.

St. Jude Police League Memorial March Closes Michigan and Chicago Avenues Sunday MorningThe St. Jude Police League Memorial March will close Michigan between the Chicago River and Chicago Avenue, and Chicago Avenue from Michigan to State from 7:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. Sunday, May 1. Buses on the #3 King Drive, #10 Museum of Science & Industry, #36 Broadway, #66 Chicago, #145 Wilson/Michigan Express, #146 Inner Drive/Michigan Express, #147 Outer Drive Express and #151 Sheridan routes will be detoured to adjacent streets for the duration of the march.

Single Track Service in Effect on the Brown Line for Structure Maintenance SundayDue to structure maintenance, single track service will be in effect on the Brown Line northbound between Western and Bryon from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. Sunday, May 1. Customers may experience minimal travel delays and should allow extra travel time.

LaSalle Street Closes for Water Main Repairs Beginning TuesdayLaSalle Street will be closed northbound between Kinzie and Hubbard from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 3 and Wednesday, May 4. Northbound #156 LaSalle buses will operate via LaSalle, Kinzie, Dearborn, Hubbard, back to LaSalle, then resume the regular route. Southbound service will not be affected.

119th Street Bridge over I-57 Closes for Construction Beginning TuesdayThe 119th Street bridge over I-57 will be closed from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 3 and Wednesday, May 4. Westbound #119 Michigan/119th buses will operate via 119th, Ashland, 115th, Marshfield, back to 119th, then resume the regular route. Eastbound buses will operate via 119th, Marshfield, 123rd, Ashland, back to 119th, then resume the regular route.

Washington Bridge over the Chicago River Closes for Repairs Beginning TuesdayThe Washington bridge over the Chicago River will be closed from 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. weekdays only from Tuesday, May 3 until Tuesday, May 17. The closures will affect eastbound buses on the #14 Jeffery Express, #20 Madison, #56 Milwaukee, #60 Blue Island, #124 Navy Pier, #127 NW/Madison and #157 Streeterville routes.

63rd Street Closed for CSX Railroad Viaduct Repairs 63rd Street is closed westbound only between Damen and Western from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. weekdays until Friday, June 24. Westbound #63 63rd buses are operating via 63rd, Damen, 59th, Western, back to 63rd, then resuming the regular route. Eastbound service is not affected.

Jeffery Avenue Closed for Sewer Construction Jeffery Avenue is closed between 87th and 93rd Streets through July 15. #14 Jeffery Express and #15 Jeffery Local buses are operating in both directions via Jeffery, 93rd, Stony Island, 87th, back to Jeffery, then resuming the regular route.

Lake Red Line Subway Entrance Temporarily Closed for RenovationsThe Lake Street station entrance to the Red Line is temporarily closed and is only available as an exit from 5 a.m. until 9 p.m. Monday through Friday. It is closed at all other times until late May. Customers are encouraged to use the adjacent Red Line subway station entrance at Washington.

Trains continue to stop at the Lake Street subway station during weekday hours.Customers wishing to exit at the north end of the Lake station should walk north and use the newly renovated stairway. They also may enter and exit at the Randolph/Washington exit at the south end of the station.
