CTA’S #19 EXPRESS BUSES SERVE UNITED CENTER FOR SHANIA TWAIN AND SIMON & GARFUNKEL CONCERTS

The CTA will operate its #19 United Center Express buses to the United Center for a Shania Twain concert Wednesday, October 22 and for two Simon & Garfunkel concerts Friday, October 24 and Saturday, October 25.

Doors open for the Shania Twain concert at 6 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. #19 buses will begin their trips south on Michigan from Chicago Avenue at 5:35 p.m. Buses will operate every 12 minutes until the last bus leaves at 7:50 p.m.

Doors open for the Simon & Garfunkel concerts at 6:30 p.m. and the shows begin at 8 p.m. #19 buses will begin operating from Michigan and Chicago at 6:05 p.m. and will run every 12 minutes until 8:20 p.m. both nights.

Southbound #19 buses make stops on Michigan at Illinois and at Randolph. Stops will be made on Madison at Wabash and at State for customers transferring from 'L' and subway trains, and on Madison at Clinton for Metra riders from the Ogilvie Transportation Center and Union Station. From Clinton, #19 buses run express to the United Center.

After the concerts, #19 buses will await customers on the north side of the United Center eastbound on Madison near Gate 3. On return trips, #19 buses operate through downtown east on Washington to Michigan before turning north and making all stops to Chicago. Service will operate every few minutes until one hour after the concerts end.
