The Chicago Transit Authority will operate its #19 United Center Express service for Blackhawks Hockey games at the United Center for the 2005 ? 2006 season.
Pre-season games will take place against Calgary Saturday, September 17 and against Minnesota, Sunday, September 18. Both games begin at 6 p.m.
#19 service will begin from Chicago Avenue at Michigan at 4:05 p.m. Buses will operate every 12 minutes until the last bus leaves Michigan/Chicago at 5:30 p.m.
Southbound #19 buses make stops on Michigan at Illinois and Washington. Stops will be made on Madison at Wabash, State and Wells for customers transferring from 'L' and subway trains, and on Madison at Clinton for Metra riders from the Ogilvie Transportation Center and Union Station. From Clinton, #19 buses run express to the United Center.
After the games, #19 buses will await customers on the north side of the United Center eastbound on Madison near Gate 3. On return trips, #19 buses operate through downtown east on Washington, making all stops from Jefferson to Michigan before turning north on Michigan and making all stops from Randolph to Chicago. After the games, service will operate every few minutes as crowds warrant.
